Introduction
This report covers internal management of an organisation. Internal management are
company’s rules, regulations, job roles, employee’s performance, employee’s relationship,
organisational culture, structure, business strategies and many others. The analysis of all these
factors helps the company to know their internal positions and to know where they are lacking
behind so that they can take corrective measures. Tesco is a chain of supermarket of grocery
stores which is founded in 1919 by Jack Cohen. The following report mainly covers the role of
HR, Marketing and finance functions within organisations, financial management and reporting
within the organisation and collaborative working practices in context of Tesco.

Role of HR within Tesco
Human Resource is the management of manpower and other essential resources within
an organisation (Lopez-Cabrales and Valle-Cabrera, 2020). Most of the company have HR
department whose responsibility is to manage their workforce properly by hiring new employees,
providing resources to employees for organisational work, managing their performance,
providing training and rewards on timely basis and many more. In context of Tesco, their HR
manager is responsible for recruitment and selection process in case they have any vacant job.
They always focus on hiring talented and skilled employees. Secondly, Tesco HR manager has
the responsibility of making good strategies for organisation to create a good culture and a
discipline environment for work so that the assigned task to employees will be held on time with
full efficiency (Podgorodnichenko, Edgar and McAndrew, 2020). Their HR department also
manage employee’s performance by providing them few facilities like career development,
training, rewards and appreciation for their good performance and many more.
Role of marketing within Tesco
Marketing is a wide concept where companies build good relationship with their
customers to identify their need and wants so that product will be design according to demand of
customers. Every multinational company have marketing department to promote their products
which further help them to attract more customers toward their brand and product and increase
the sales (He, Chao and Zhu, 2019). In context to Tesco, their marketing department is
