The article present the views that this abuse is not such which cannot be prevented, yes it can be. The main reason of the domestic violence is the psychological status of the partner or the person committing a abuse to a female person in the family the present report is made over the topic of domestic violence in the womenin around the world. The fact present that this can be prevented with psychological and sociological interventions by the society and communities and also those who are suffering this abuse. The reports is wholesome as it present the literature review, the method of data collection, limitation, and conclusion , with identification of disagreement over the journal article and providing recommendations forthe same. LITRATURE REVIEW The domestic violence is one of the factor that have been faces by women since long andthishasbecomelegacy forthe patriarchy community. The domestic violencehaveits presence every where in the world and there is no place in the globe which can stated to be free from domestic violence as some cannot be on the records and paper because most of women facing domestic violence do not report it.While there is a large body of research exploring the various avenues of support for domestic abuse victims and the risk factors which put women at risk of victimization, there is little research exploring the perceptions of these women. The purpose of this paper is therefore to explore the personal views of victimized women; in 5
particular, the risk factors that they believe put them at risk for abuse and what they feel support services should offer. As per the journal article the views and perception of those women who havebeen victim of domestic violence are more prone to the risk of the factor that they lack support form the society and community. The problem of domestic violence is presentin the real world ore than the law as people in the patriarch society take domestic violence just normal as they do not consider it to be any type of abuse. On the other hand by taking the views of victim women do not report or even take an action against it for the sake of their family and children. However, it is stated by that domestic violence is one of the most unreported abuse in the world. Specifically the one related with intimate relation astheman or the person causing the abuse generally have psychological issues which are not known to them even this issues are related withnot treating the women with equal rights and treating them as selves or berating them as when there wishes are not fulfilled. This type of behavior is not at all acceptable but still the fact is standing on the face of the society as most 35% of women have faced serious abuse of domestic violence in their life. Despite of the legal regulation over those indulging in such acts this abuse might have reduces a little but so far a little fall in the rate can be seen in the cases ofdomestic violence, with the mention oftheunreported crime occurred as a abuse under domestic violence. PARTCIPENTS The journal article which has been taken to present this report over domestic violence was made after a 12 women have taken participation in the interview over defining the struggle faced by them for their equal human rightsand making progress in the society. These women participants presented the challenge is faced by them in intimate relationship, quality of life and the supporting service they get and problems faced due to the old age patriarchal structure of the communities around the world. METHODS OF RESEARCH Themethods of research for the journal article wasthe primary onewhich involves interviewing 12 women who were Vitim of domestic abuse. LIMITATION The limitations of this journal article can be outlined as the quality of the life around the time of abuse the main factor that should be explored further in relation to the victimization of women. RESULT OF STUDY The result of the journal article can be outlined that the domestic violence is still prominent in the society despite of there being legal implication of the same. The domestic violence in the intimate relation is a sign of psychological disorder. The results from the articles highlighted the some of the prominentrisk factorsandmost significantly emphasized the requirement for the alternative forms of support for the women in the society. The overall the findings showed an innovative way of viewing domestic violence by understanding it through the narratives of victim. DISAGREEMNTS AND RECOMMENDATION The main disagreement with this journal article is that it considered the it only considered only one type of abuse with the women and also the number of women facing abuse was also too limited. for such type of research the numberof the victims could have beenat least 30. And had the research forthe articlerevolved around two or more segment of the domestic violence the article could have present the outcome over the abuse with women more significantly. REFLACTION From the preparation of report on the domestic violence I have gained an insight over how to prepare a report on a given topic. This includes research that needs to be carried out to collect data and information over the research topic and for this report it was domestic violence. Before the preparation of this report I knew the existence of domestic violence in the society and community butafter completion of the report understood itsvolatility and the how the women have been and still are the victim of domestic abuse. Also Ihavelearned thatthis is the topic which is less learned and givenimportance in our society andonly a few section f the society work on domestic violence andother remain oblivion to the fact ofa women getting abuse in her own home. The people sometimes take active participation in stopping this rage but still the 7
fact is standing still that in the 21 century still women cannot feel safe in their won houses and form those who are likely to give her support and protection in life. I have gained a learning that the report preparation involves a systematic planning and require time management also. The planning is required to carry out the structure and steps to complete the research with effective outcome. Also, time management involves the researcher to divide the time allotted in the various activities of thereport preparation as to which activity requires how much like for effective completion of the report. My learning’s have evolved over preparation of a report and how to conduct and research and complete it in effect way with representing the outcomes and finding in the same report and limited words. Also I have gained new ideas and development strategies over making the use of time and spreading the time in to significant section in order to complete the report in given time over the research topic. I have developed my confidence in report masking as before I had a little knowledge over this area but now with completion of this reporthave learned a significant learning of my academic learning’s. With completion of this report over domestic violence I have evolved as a person and I have experienced a self-development in myself as an individual living in society where everyone is required to present for another in the times of theirneed. Domestic violence is one of those abuse that have its presence form a long time and still there is no significant solution for curbing it has been presented by the government. Women have been given empowerment and yet they facethe abuse andviolencein their houses in the name of relationships. I can clear state this that domestic violence is one of those crime which is not treated to be crime by most of the women and they face is for a long time be stating as there destiny or a part of their relation for the sake of family and children. 8
