INTRODUCTION Personal as well as professional development is one of the most essential aspects as it helps in accomplishing the tasks and the goals that are meant to fulfil all the needs and demands of both an individual and an organisation and it is also very crucial and critical for a person’s growth and development in the long run(Avidov-Ungar, 2016). In this report there are various aspects that have been covered like a detailed evaluation and analysis of all the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that are related with me and after analysis of all these factors it helps me to identify the problems that I have as an individual and helps to sort it out so that it can prove beneficial for me. Apart from this the report covers different aspects that are related with Continuous Professional Personal Development (CPPD) that have a lot of value in the personal as well as in the professional life when taken as a whole. Also the report covers various other topics that are related with the challenges that I have faced while evaluating and formulating the plan that is personal and professional development plan as there are many barriers but I stayed firm and all the research and analysis that I have done in this regard proved very crucial for me in overcoming all the problems so as to compete in the market that is highly dynamic in nature. Further all the process and steps that has been followed by me are also explained in detail in this report. MAIN BODY Creating a plan that is of personal and professional development in nature in detail Skill audit is an essential as well as important element as it helps an individual to analyse the weak points and then evaluating in detail and after it taking necessary steps so as to improve the efficiency and effectiveness that an individual possess. I have done a skill audit of mine so that it can prove helpful for me in identifying the loop holes in my abilities so that appropriate measures can be taken by me in order to acquire new skills or to upgrade the existing one depending on the needs, requirements, and demand of the current as well as future environment (Bódi and Gotea, 2016). As there are many opportunities available in the market so as to acquire or upgrade a new skill set and these can prove very beneficial for me too as I lack leadership and time management skills and if I accomplish in achieving my target it can be very useful as there is a high demand of such persons that are expertise in these skills. Further as I lack work ethics and adaptability skills and there is an open opportunity for me to acquire these skills and if I am able to do that in a successful manner it can prove very helpful for me as it is high in demand due to the current market situations that are prevailing in the industry. Apart from this if I am also able to upgrade my honesty skills in work it can make a huge difference as it have the potential to change the equations and that too drastically in my favour and there are various opportunities available in the market to do that which can be critical for me. Threats-As the industry is of dynamic in nature therefore there are various types of threats always revolving round the corner and in my case too there are different threats that are looming around. As I lack in leadership and adaptability skills and if I am not able to acquire these skills in an apt manner and that too within a limited time frame it can possess as a big threat for me as I will be lacking behind others in this competitive environment and it can also damage and destruct my position as an individual. Apart from this as I lack in work ethics and time management skills and if I am not able to grab the opportunity to acquire these skills it can be a big threat from me as it is a must in the current scenario. Further if I am also not able to develop
honesty towards my work it can be dangerous for me in the long run as it carry the potential to damage the market value of the firm as well as from the individual’s point of view(Harvey and Carpenter, 2020).
