Introduction
The report will focus towards evaluating the HR practices of organizations and the
initiatives that are taken to improve employee performances, culture and rate of employee
engagement. The focus organization for the study would be AGL energy Limited. The
organization is one of the largest energy and utility company of Australia.
Context
The context in focus for the study is organizational behavior and management. The main
focus is on people culture and contemporary leadership. The focus will be on understanding the
most important corporate practices that can help the people of an organization identify with the
organization. Moreover, in the context of organizational behavior the focus will be on the
performance initiatives, cultural initiatives and employment based initiatives. This can create a
framework through which the organizational functions can be separately measures in accordance
with the success factors that guide them.
Content
The various organizational management aspects that are present in the chosen
organization, AGL energy Limited will be focused on the report.
Firstly, the performance related initiatives of the chosen organization would be measured
in accordance of the success factors.
Secondly, the selected organization and the focus of its organizational culture would be
measured. One culture based initiative will be measured in accordance of the success factors
associated.
