INTRODUCTION
Enterprise architecture can be defined as the process by which companies organize their
IT infrastructure, in order to align with business goals and objectives. These strategies support
the IT growth and digital transformation of the company (Alwadain and et. al., 2016). Enterprise
architecture helps businesses in structuring their IT projects as well as policies in order to

concept of data and information architecture and the role of audit and compliance standards in
EA and how the tool will help in effective decision making.
