As it is the departmental store sowithout teams, it is difficult for the organization to function effectively. There are different teamswhich are made for diverse purpose with the given deadlines. There are several benefits whichare attached with the team working (Rahim, 2010). Morrisons is the supermarket chain which isfocused on building company effectiveness through team building. The general advantages ofteams in the supermarket are as follows: It provides effective customer services to the users which results in increasing customer’ssatisfaction.In the Morrisons, the team of the clerks is responsible to see that all the shelves are fullwith the food or not. This helps in increasing the productivity of the firm. Further, teams help in increasing the employee engagement in Morrisons.For understanding the benefits of the team, several scholars have made team developmenttheories which can be applied in the supermarket to gain revenue (Gunasekaran, Jabbour andJabbour, 2014).
