2 REPORT ON RISKS Introduction The report is prepared for MacVille Pty Ltd for analysing the risk associated with opening new outlets for the business within existing structure of the business. For the analysis of the risk the external and the internal environment factors are analysed and reviewed for analysing the critical success factor for the development of the project. Purpose and key elements The key elements identified for the project are listed below: Development of a risk review report To record the emails and communication between the stakeholders The safety fields should be analysed for the recognition of the consequences and negative impact Focus should be given on the prevention and mitigation of the risk such that the project can be completed successfully Scope of risk assessment As a manager continuous effort should be given on the risk management and new process should be developed for implementation of strategy and address the problems in the project. The risk assessment should be used for reducing the volatility and focus should be given on the non-essential areas in the current business process. The risk should be identified in the preliminary stage of the project by analysing the legal, social, cultural and political environment. Critical Success factor Both the threat and the opportunity for the project should be identified and controlling or mitigating the risk associated with the development of the project. The effectiveness of the

The control should be measured in terms of potential economic benefits regularly auditing the standards and policy for the management of the improvement opportunities. The cost of the labour and the likely changes that are needed to be made in the current store should be identified. The inflation, stock market and the interest rates should also be taken into account. Social –The lifestyle of the targeted consumer and the recent trend among the people should be identified for making contribution towards the social changes. The population in the locality and the lifestyle choice should also be identified for reducing the impact of the social culture of the people in the current business. Technological –Innovation, patents and license and the technology that can help in reducing the effort of the employee and server more number of customer should be taken into account for the improvement of the business process. SWOT analysis Strength The main strength is the location of the store that would make easy access for the consumers and increase the visibility for the tourist. Weakness The new store is far away from the main branch and a steep slope with blockings in the road is needed to be passed for reaching the outlet. Opportunities The wastage of water should be reduced by installing dual flash system in toilet and using efficiency labelled dish washer and new cooking system can be installed in the site for eliminating the need of delivering pastries from the main outlet.
5 REPORT ON RISKS Threats There is a lack of sales promotion and it causes the staffs for active involvement in the business. The health issues for the employees should be managed and a process should be involved for dealing with the injuries of the employees working in the organization. Method of research Interviews and survey should be done for obtaining information about the current scenario of the business. While conducting the interview a formal or informal approach can be adopted for letting the person speak freely and ensuring that the issues are covered. The answers should be recorded for using it for the development of the project. Conclusion From the above report it can be summarized that for opening the new branch in Toowoomba the involvement of the stakeholders is necessary for the identification of the potential threats for the project. The rules and regulation that should be followed and the areas of impact of the project are identified for eliminating the risk and successfully completing the project.
