INTRODUCTION
Personal development refers to the development of different skills, abilities which are
important to get success and growth in career. The present report comprises concept of personal
and professional development along with the goals which are prepared for various time frames
such as short, medium term as well as long term (Canfield, 2018). It includes the way in which
author, reliability, purpose as well as relevance affect the use of a source. Lastly, it comprises
evaluation of different sources which are used for preparation of report.

enhancing the performance of an individual in an efficient manner. On other side, professional
development is concern with improving employability skills so that the assigned task can be

Short term goals are such goal which needs to complete in upcoming years within the
time period of 3 to 5 months. These goals are related to very short time of period and play a
crucial role in improving the performance of an individual in significant manner (Hill, 2020).

Medium term goals are the bridge between short term and long term goals and likely to
