use Pestle analysis which identifies different factor that affect the entire industry which are as
mention:
Political factor: the healthcare industry impact by many factor such that insurance
mandates, different tax legislation, consumer protection etc. further, government of Australia
also spent lot amount for a healthcare which can be benefited by different tax policy changes
(Rastogi and Trivedi, 2016). On the other side, sudden changes in policy also affect the entire
industry in opposite way especially with changing healthcare bills and plans.
Economic Factor: The industry also affect by many economic factor such that inflation,
unemployment. As there are many company under healthcare industry who manufacture medical
devices and many people are not able to pay the rate when there is increased rate of
unemployment. But on the other side, if less people are able to work and they are not qualify for
the work benefits as well.
Social Factor: The healthcare sector relies on the understanding the changes in
demographics (Gupta, Gupta and Gupta, 2019). Even the certain communities also share the
fears, belief, that is why, it is necessary for the professional to be aware with this in order to
provide best facilities to their patients.
Technological factor: Sector seeing positive changes in the treatment because of
technological advancements. For instance, hearing aid devices which provide crystal clear sound

stronger level of dealer community as it had built the culture among the distributor and the
dealers where dealers along with promoting the products of the company, make investment in
availing training to sales team for explaining the customers the ways in which they could extract
maximum benefits from the product. Activities of the company are fully automated that brings
consistency in enhancing quality of the product and also has a successful record in integrating
the complimentary firms through the mergers and an acquisition. Regis limited is seen as
successful in implementation of the projects and in generating higher returns on the capital
expenses developing new steams for revenue.
Weaknesses- Regis healthcare organization seems to be unable in tackling challenges that
are presented by new entrants in sector and had the small portion of the market share within the
niche categories. The company is not good at forecasting product demand resulting to higher rate
of the missed opportunities in comparison to its rivalry. It requires more and more investment in
the new technologies and needs to put more money in the technology for integrating processes
around board. Profitability and the net contribution ratio of this company are below an industry
average.
Opportunities- Company can look for attracting new customers through the online channels
which could help the company in increasing its customer and knowing its customers in a better
way. Government green projects had opened up an opportunity for the procuring products of the
Regis Healthcare by state and federal government. Lower rate of inflation had brings more and
more stability within the market which enabled the company in getting the credit at lower

interest rate (Walsh, Bhagavatheeswaran and Roma, 2019). Newer trends in consumer behavior
opened up for the new market and provided a great opportunity for an entity in building a new
stream of revenue and in diversifying into the new range of products.
Threats- Growing strength of the local distributors presented a big threat in some of the
markets as competitors are paying for higher margins to local distributors.
3. Internal analysis
VRIO framework
Value- Regis Limited makes use of the human capital data for hiring and retaining an
innovative or productive employee. Such employee constantly creates some most popular
consumer services and the products across the world.
Rarity- An organization in terms of uniqueness or rarity from other competitors and
firms, opted for using data based management of its employees in an extensive manner.
Imitability- Managing human capital through database is counted as costly and very
difficult in imitating at least for future periods (Gupta, Gupta and Gupta, 2019). Regis healthcare
Limited builds software and has invested in providing training to their HR staff on newer
technology and the strategy.
Organization- Regis healthcare has seen as organized in capturing the value from its
capability. IT department is having the skills in maintaining and collecting data while the team
leaders and HR team is been provided training on the way for using the data for hiring, managing
and improving employees performance.
