Summary and background of the company
Global Health Management is one of the organization that is leading in terms of provision of
health. The organization employs several perspectives which focus on the distribution and
determinants of health in international context there are;
 Economics which focuses on cost-benefit and cost effectiveness approaches for optimal
allocation of health resources
 Medicine aspect which describes the pathology of diseases and also promotes treatment,
diagnosis, and prevention
 Demography which provides data for policy decisions
 Public health which emphasizes on health of populations
 Epidemiology which assists in identifying of risk factors and causes of health related
issues
Due to the increase in number of students at NYU, there is an increase in demand of
services such as sharing of medical records before the doctors’ appointments, uploading
insurance cards, and rendering data for research purposes. This raises the needed of a medical
record app.
