1.0 I/We, the undersigned duly authorized representative of the Proponent, having received and carefully reviewed all of
the Proposal documents, including the RFP and any issued addenda, and having full knowledge of the Site, and having fully
informed ourselves as to the intent, difficulties, facilities and local conditions attendant to performing the Services, submit this
Proposal in response to the RFP.
2.0 I/We confirm that the following appendices are attached to and form part of this Proposal:

STATEMENT OF DEPARTURES
1. I/We have reviewed the proposed Contract attached to the RFP as Schedule “B”. If requested by the City, I/We would be
prepared to enter into that Contract, amended by the following departures (list departures, if any):

2. The City of Langley requires that the successful Proponent have the following in place before commencing the
Services:
a) Workers’ Compensation Board coverage in good standing and further, if an “Owner Operator” is involved,
personal operator protection (P.O.P.) will be provided,
Worker’s Compensation Registration Number ;
b) Insurance coverage for the amounts required in the proposed Contract as a minimum, naming the City as
additional insured; less then 5 million dollars
c) City of Langley business license; There is license with TIMMS COMMUNITY CENTRE COFFEE SHOP
for retail area of coffee and other products. There is seating area for consumers with 104 sq. ft.
d) Fraser Health Food Permit.
As of the date of this Proposal, we advise that we have the ability to meet all of the above requirements except as
follows (list, if any):

PROPONENT’S EXPERIENCE, REPUTATION AND RESOURCES
Proponents should provide information on the following (use the spaces provided and attach additional pages, if necessary):
(i) Location of branches, background, stability, structure of the Proponent;
Coffee shop is situated at Timms Community Center/City Hall/Fraser Valley Regional Library facility located at
20399 Douglas Crescent, Langley, BC. This is the place which is between traffic and between two main streets, elevator, gym, and
weighting room. There is special area of seating for consumers, there business meeting can held or people can seat in spare time.
(ii) Proponent’s relevant experience and qualifications in delivering Services similar to those required by the RFP;
proponent have experience of 5 years as working in same fields. In initial career, worked as cook at cafeteria, after completing
graduation in same field worked as operational manger in reputed association. In achieving growth, worked as manager assistance as
well. So they have knowledge about how to manage things from kitchen to various departments in order to synchronize activities of
whole organization.
(iii) Proponent’s demonstrated ability to provide the Services;
Proponent is able to deliver best services to consumers because individuals have knowledge about happening adverse situations which
arise at coffee shop. So in case aggressive consumer occurs, then how to handle situation.
(iv) Proponent’s equipment servicing resources, capability and capacity, as relevant;
Proponent have experience of 5 years in same stream, so they have ability to understand changes which are happening. Individual have
saving which they utilize to acquire utensils, coffee machine, etc. candidate applied for loan from nationalized bank for paying rent,
compensation to workers, etc.
(v) Proponent’s financial strength (with evidence such as financial statements, bank references); and,
Proponents should also provide information on the background and experience of key personnel proposed to undertake the
Services (complete the chart below for all personnel proposed to undertake the Services):

Proponent to provide three references of recent successful performance where the requirements were similar to the
City’s requirements as set out in the RFP. The City reserves the right to request site visits and demonstrations of
existing Proponent operations. The City reserves the right to contact any person(s), agency(ies) or firm(s) not listed as
part of an independent review.

PROPONENT’S TECHNICAL PROPOSAL (SERVICES)
Proponents should provide the following (use the spaces provided and attach additional pages, if necessary):
(i) a narrative that illustrates an understanding of the City’s requirements and Services;
TIMMS COMMUNITY CENTRE COFFEE SHOP is located at crowdy place where traffic is more people can meet and there is no
such coffee shop, cafe is available in such areas. So proponent have idea to launch coffee shop with library and big seating area so
consumer can meet with their greeting and can easily mange their spare time.
(ii) a description of the general approach and methodology that the Proponent would take in performing the
Services including specifications;
Licensing, registered under food licensing, etc. are used to maintain services as per specification.
(iii) a narrative that illustrates Proponent’s philosophy and approach to quality assurance and quality control;
Quality of product and services are assured by evaluating bu proponent and ten taking feedback from consumers. This makes easy to
understand what is requirement of consumers and if there is any negative feedback, then corrective actions can be taken.
(iv) the Proponent team will identify the manager responsible for performing the duties and obligations as defined in
the RFP.
