INTRODUCTION Research Consultants are those people who conduct the research and guide the others for the purpose of managing each functions and developing skills. This encompasses through specialised and target research on behalf of client and produce the final analysis of the key finding. These people have specialise type knowledge and skills which can be used to complete the project and managing the all functions(Lycko, and Galanakis, 2019). The current research project is based on Samsung Group that is South Korean multinational conglomerate headquarter in Samsung Town. The report will help to develop knowledge about research and individual skills. MAIN BODY Understandingof researchmethodsasevidencedby discussionof methodsselectedand breadth/depth of reading Research Methods are those aspects which is used by researcher to develop the knowledge and skills in specific field. If there is proper researcher conducted by individual, then it will be great opportunity to complete the research and manage the functions properly. The research methods are of two types which is useful to conduct feasible research by collecting the information. The research mainly depends on one’s perspective that uses to develop the knowledge and managing all activities (Grisold, Klammer, and Kragulj, 2020). The two methods of research are primary and secondary research. The meaning of primary data is when data is collected from first hand sources by conducting the research properly. This involvesquestionnaire, survey, otherfacetofaceroundthattakemuchtimetogather information. Secondary research is considered as desktop research that is used to collect data from existing sources which are available and incurs low cost for researcher. This involves internet, base of primary data, article, books & journal and others which can help to develop the understandings and completing project.Samsung Grouphas selected the Secondary or desktop research to complete this consultancy project which can help to collect the reliable data. In this, researcher focused on newspaper, websites, internet and others that can help to know how to run business and make right conclusion out of various options (Hagan Jnr, and Schack, 2019). 3
Evaluation of the challenges faced in data collection and analysis, with due regard to ethical and practical considerations WhileconductingtheDesktoporsecondaryresearchSamsungGroupisgathering information and scrutinise appropriate knowledge and skills. It has seen that to complete the task and managing all research functions there is need to have proper knowledge and understanding which supports to complete the task. In this, online and offline methods are used to conduct the research in relation to specific areas (Banasick, 2019). Whileconductingthesecondaryresearchdifferentchallengesarefacedsuchas inappropriate data, not reliableand time consuming methods that might be difficult for researcher to complete the assigned task and manage the performance. It has seen that data which is collected on the basis of online is based on past data, and not properly relevant as having hypothesis information. The another challenge islack of confidentiality datawhich can be arise while conducting the desktop research. It has seen that there is not confidentiality in collecting data which is conducted by researcher as it could be share with others (Harding, Estrada, and Floren, 2019). Critical evaluation of the appropriateness of the methods selected The Desktop research method is appropriate for consultant as it provide the different types of knowledge in relation to topic. The secondary research is conducted for Samsung Group which is important for managing the all information. Whenever someone is going to launch new product or services then there is need to have proper knowledge of market and customer taste which can help to perform well and complete the task. Research is the best aspects for knowing about particular topic and managing all functions properly. The two technique of research are qualitative and quantitative which are used for different purpose. The qualitative methods are used to collect the information in detail by considering theoretical data only. On the other side, quantitative method is related to gathering data and information on the basis of statistical and mathematical ways which can help to reaching the outcomes. The researcher has been used quantitative technique to gather data as it provides good understanding to collect statistical data along with chart and table (Du Bois, and et.al., 2020). The Desktop research is appropriate for Samsung Group as with the help of this, researcher can collect the information in less time period, save the cost and reach the conclusion point. This can help to make faster decision by increasing learning skills. This also helps to know about 4

market and generate the traits of specific topic. On the other side, some disadvantages of desktop methods are past data and can be leak out which might be create the challenge for researcher to use research method (Purcell, Henriksen, and Spengler, 2019). Personal reflection on how the project will inform future research consultancy projects and/or professional practice The current project is about Samsung Group which is conducted by researcher to collect the various type of knowledge as well as skills to complete the project. The aim of each individual is to conduct the market research and attain the higher productivity by managing all functions and activities. I conducted the research on Samsung Group by using Desktop research where I gathered knowledge from internet, newspaper, and online websites that supported to complete the project. While doing this project I analysed skills such as good communication, reading, and learning skills in which I was good and controlled all data by using specific technique or abilities. Being a researcher consultant I also improved my marketing and researcher skills that will be use by myself in upcoming period to get the good opportunities (Axelsson, and et.al., 2020). CONCLUSION From above research consultancy report it has been concluded that research is the practice of conducting analysis on the basis of different topics which can help to manage the functions. Desktop research on Samsung Company is conducted by me which helped to save time and cost for specific topic and maintain higher performance. Reflection is the activity of sharing and elaborating knowledge in detail manner. 5
