REFLECTION Topic: To analyse the impact of branding strategies on brand equity: A study on Samsung Research methods are those methods that will lead to the performance of research in a specific direction along with evaluation of the concerned topic. There are majorly two main types of method including qualitative and quantitative (Saunders, Lewis and Thornhill, 2019). Qualitative research is that method under which theoretical concepts and data is being analysed without making a use of statistical facts and figures (Allan, 2020). However, on the other hand quantitative study includes the study of numeric facts and figures. Here statistical data is being used and analysed (Brannen, 2017). With regard to the current research of making analysation of branding strategies with respect to brand equity of Samsung, qualitative study will be selected so that the in-depth study of the facts and figures would be performed. In further consideration to it secondary method is chosen so that a detailed analysis of the concept of brand strategies with respect to brand equity would be determined (Bell and Waters, 2018). Likewise, with the adoption of secondary method and qualitative study insight of an entire industry would be performed (Martins, da Cunha and Serra, 2018). Since, it is an open-ended process so detailed study would be able to take place. While collecting data with respect to desktop analysis, various challenges in terms of making analysation of valid and relevant data took place. Being a desktop research that may include in-depth study of resources so making bifurcation of most relevant data and its analysis emerge as a biggest challenge (Johnston, 2017). In the same way compliance of ethical consideration in terms of using the copyright data and valid sources of data also occurred as a challenge with regard to desktop research. Being a open-ended process and presence of huge data, it took a lot of time with respect to data selection in the context of the research. As many sources over online platform are not authenticated and valid so with a focus towards the aspect of ethics it becomes challenging that the researches of other author would not be plagiarized and invalidly used also emerge as a challenge. Selection of qualitative research method with a use of secondary data in the context of present research is proves to be useful and suitable because with the adoption of this method and type a detailed analysis of the concept of branding strategies along with its impact is being determined and analysed. In addition, of this, the information in case of desktop research would be readily available at low cost because of the readily available literature on various source
(Hart, 2018). This means with the adoption of this method not only time but the cost and expenses are also saved (Queirós, Faria and Almeida, 2017). In the same way with the adoption of desktop research scope of data in concern to topic is widened up. This make the research to be more effective and detailed. However, on a critical note it is to be noted that with the adoption of this method, the current data and context of authenticated data will be lack. This is because the secondary data does not include the recent information (Johhson and Sylvia, 2018). Likewise, the collected data can't be presented in statistical mode which may lead to non-highlighting of major facts and figures along with creation of misleading conclusion. The current project and concerned research proves to be very helpful with regard to my future course of action and further studies. As this research enable me to develop various skills and knowledge with regard to research performance so that I would be able to handle my future project very effectively. This research enables me to learn and develop various skills including analytical, communication, presentation and various others. Through these skills now I'm able to perform research easily. Likewise, time and resource management skills is also developed with the performance of this research that how to make distribution of adequate time with regard to various aspect and element of research. This research also enable me to learn and raise knowledge with regard to desktop method that how it plays an important role with respect to the research performance. Through this I came to know that how to make bifurcation of relevant data and make it inculcate in research. Likewise, along with data selection I also learned data interpretation which would enable the research to make accomplish its objectives. In the same manner with the development of analytical skill now I can easily make analysis of the data along with determination of its critical aspects. Critical thinking involves thinking about positive as well as negative aspect about a particular phenomenon (Dahl, Peltier and Schibrowsky, 2018.). I also learn that how to make presentation of the data in the most relevant mode. With the performance of this research, handling of future projects and research task would be easy for me because along with theoretical knowledge I got the practical exposure. I also learn that how the data will be gathered along with keeping compliance with the ethical and moral values. This research also enable me to learn the importance of ethics in the research. Likewise, I also understood that how with the adoption of qualitative method an in-depth knowledge and research would be performed. Through this research I got practical exposure of the corporate world that

how practically companies work and how theoretical aspects are practically implacable in companies. Likewise, this research helped to me sharpen my communication skill that with the help of this skill I would be able to make effective presentation of my ideas. Along with data selectionanditsanalysisIalsolearnedthathowdesigningandfollowingofresearch methodology would enable the researcher to make performance of research in a desired and time-cost effective manner. Being a research student this research played a major role in association with my future because with this research I would be confidently handled my future research project too along with making efficient distribution of time and cost aspect. Overall this would be right to said that with the performance of this research I learned a lot of skills along with enhancement of my level of knowledge with the sharpening of my existing skills too. This research act as a base that will help me and assist me with regard to performing future research project.
