INTRODUCTION
Brief personal
Torres Strait Islander is one of indigenous people, which are basically part to the state of
Queensland Australia. Ethnicity distinct from different aboriginal people within Australia.
Neville Thomas Bonner was Australian political and first aboriginal to become Member of
Parliament (Fredericks, Lee & Mahoney, 2020). Afterwards, He was appointed by Queensland
parliament to fill casual vacancy as representative. He was the most popular elected by vote.
Basically, these are belonging the grouped with them as indigenous Australians. Neville Bonner
was born in the Ukerebagh Island on the northern New South Wales.
Cultural biography of Neville Bonner Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community
The culture of Neville Bonner as specific form of exercising their own self-
determination. He was followed the specific culture in regards of ancient rock art to modern
water colour landscapes (Butler & et.al., 2019). The culture of Aboriginal people can be
represented the number of unique instruments, music spans. The large population did not
develop the system of writing before any colonisation but there are wide range of language exits.
Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people enjoy their diverse, living
culture. Generally, the communities vary according to resources, geographical location and
environment. Each and every individual having their own cultural, language, belief and practices.
Torres Strait Islanders, wherever they live (Price & Rogers, 2019). Although aboriginal peoples
and other Torres Strait Islander have considered distinct culture as well as societies.
In context of culture, Aboriginal communities include different practices, ceremonies on
belief in mythology, dreamtime. It emphasised with oral traditions and always respect for land.
Within culture, language and other grouping already exhibits a wide range of individual
perception. Australian Aboriginal art has been existed for thousands of years.
