This document presents the key findings of a research conducted on the availability of food in North Carolina, particularly focusing on the challenges faced by low-income females in urban areas. The research highlights the unequal distribution of food stores and its impact on the shopping behavior of the residents. It also discusses the relevance of conflict theory in understanding the lack of resources in urban areas. The research method used is qualitative research. Advantages and disadvantages of this research method are also discussed, along with an alternative research method.
