INTRODUCTION
Research and innovative skill need to be present in each and every entrepreneur in order to
make its business successful and innovative to meet needs and demand of customers. Research
skill helps in finding new and innovative method to manufacture qualitative products and deliver
services to customers within limited time and cost. Therefore business is all about research and
development of new technologies and products so that company can gain competitive advantages
and increase its market share. This report is an self evaluation of research skill, reflection about
various way it can be improved and areas that need more improvement. It use Gib’s reflective
model to explain research skill that are present in me and need to be improves so that I can grow
and develop in personal and professional life. Personal development plan helps in finding areas
in which I need to improve to run business successfully and smoothly in the future career.
Main Body
Research skill refers to collecting and gathering useful information and data from various
sources such as textbooks, online sites to effective analysis to get best outcome or result. As per
my analysis and evaluation research skills are most important in business as new ideas and
innovation come up for growth and success of organisation. Research can be of new products,
business or way of delivering services to large number of people in order to reduce cost and
effort (Gibert, Tozer and Westoby, 2017). I have found that because if I have good research skill
I was able to bring new ideas to launch a business and cater needs and demand of different
people. At the same time continuous progress in research skill helps me to think creatively and
strategically so that business can grow and expand across various nations.
FINDING
Gib’s reflective model can also be used for self evaluation of research skill that are present
in me and need to be improved for further personal development. Gib’ reflective model explains
various facts and proper description about experience and incident that happened so that
conclusion can be drawn and methods can be find to improve such skills.
