Title of the Project
To determine the need of providing training and development to the health care
professionals within the pandemic of COVID-19. A study on National Health Services (NHS)
UK.
Introduction
The present study mainly initiates to determine the need of rendering training and
development to the health care professionals in the pandemic of COVID-19. However, training
and development are considered to be the most imperative aspect of human resources
management, thus it is imperative in aiding the entire business in right direction to attain higher
growth and success (Moreno And et. al., 2020). COVID-19 is a newly originated virus and
defined as an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered corona virus. Most people infected
with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover
without requiring special treatment. Older people, and those with underlying medical problems
like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to
develop serious illness. Corona is a highly infected virus and in this pandemic a suitable process
of training and development is imperative for the health care professionals to enhance the
operation of the business. In this present analysis the study is based on NHS, thus The National
Health Services is the umbrella term for the publicly funded health care system of the United
Kingdom. Since 1948 they have been funded out of general taxation. There are four systems, one
for each of the four countries of the UK: The NHS in England, NHS Scotland, NHS Wales and
Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland. They were established together in 1948 as one of the
major social reforms following the Second World War (Druss, 2020).
Rationale of the Research
The research into consideration is based on the aspect of evaluating the potential need of
providing training and development to the health care professionals within the pandemic of
COVID 19. Therefore, it is a wide area of research, as the training and development is the major
considered aspect of health care business and needs suitable recognition to improvise the
operations during the outbreak of COVID 19 (Greenhalgh And et. al., 2020). However, corona is
a newly originated virus and never being known by others and needs suitable recognition to
render suitable support to the people who are facing the issue of COVID 19. Another intention of
