pp. 5-8, 2019.
The title of the selected paper is IoT based smart poultry farm which was
written by Shubham and other authors in the year 2019. This paper is
grounded on the smart poultry farm in which the authors describes the
importance of IoT and networks on a poultry farm. The goal of this article is
to evaluate the key idea behind smart poultry farm and examine the
importance of IoT enabled devices in the area of poultry. The authors
included the viewpoints of other research scholars for a better
understanding of research concerns and aims. There are numerous
methodologies adopted in this article, for example, qualitative design,
inductive type approach, conducted literature review, collected data using
secondary methods, and analyzed the gathered facts by using content
analysis technique. Therefore, it is argued that the author provided
complete information and achieved the aims of the investigation by
including such kinds of methodologies. From this paper, it has found that
IoT based poultry farm reduce complexity and help consumers to collect
and send the relevant data from one system to another. There are several
advantages of this paper such as reduced drawbacks of recent papers,
included viewpoints of other writers, providing each and every point related
to the IoT and so on. Moreover, the author did not explain the advantages
and disadvantages of IoT technology which is a major limitation of this
paper.

RESEARCH PAPER 2
This journal article was published by Ayyappan and the other three authors
in the year 2017 in order to evaluate and highlight the role of IoT in the
poultry industry. In this paper, the researchers focused on the chicken
industry and evaluated how IoT helps the management team to improve the
performance of developed systems used in the poultry farm. Moreover, the
researchers observed that IoT has the capability to control and manage
systems used in the poultry farm and help management to take preventive
action in the workplace. There are several research techniques included by
the research scholars that involves, qualitative design, conductive
approach, secondary kind of data obtaining methods, and so on. However,
in order to collect the secondary data, the writers conducted a literature
survey and included the opinions of other experts. In this paper, the authors
highlighted the risk factors and issues that increase complexity in poultry
farm which are solved by IoT technology. In which the writers provided
complete information, reduced gaps solved issues faced by poultry sectors,
and developed an IoT based system. But, this paper did not evaluate the risk
factors associated with IoT based networks and devices.

This article was written by Handigolkar, kavya and Veena in the year 2016
and the aim of this article is to explore the key aspects of IoT and how it can
be used in the poultry farms. In which a literature review has included in
order to reduce drawbacks and improve the quality of the investigation. The
IoT based system has the potential to improve the effectiveness of poultry
farm and also collect data related to the chicken and monitor in an effective
way. There are major three research techniques used by the investigators,
for example, theoretical design, subordinate data collection and contented

examination approach. It is observed that the pros of this paper involves
various key factors including reduced gaps of previous papers, highlighted
impact of IoT on a poultry farm and implemented a system for poultry farm.
The researchers did not describe the negative impacts of IoT which can
create gaps in the research. In which the author identified that by using IoT
and networks the management team can enhance the overall efficiency of
poultry farm.

Monitoring Using IoT and Wireless Sensor Networks,"
International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer
Science, vol. 7, no. 3, pp. 7-9, 2016.
This paper is based on the smart poultry farm system where the author
highlighted the concepts of IoT and wireless networks used in the poultry
farm. The goal of this article is to demonstrate how wireless sensors and IoT
improve the effectiveness of the poultry farm and maintain overall
performance. The authors argued that chicken production is increasing very
fast for which it is very important to design a new approach that handles
more complex situations and monitor collected data effectively. IoT is a
more suitable technology which can be used in the poultry farm. There are
several benefits of this article, for example highlighted the importance of
IoT, developed and applied a scheme grounded on the wireless sensor
networks, and explored the key mechanisms recycled in the smart poultry.
The author provided less information about IoT threats and limitations of
wireless sensors which are drawbacks of this paper.
