1. INTRODUCTIONGeorge Frideric Handel was a German, later British Baroque composer, who has madehis career in London. He was also a well known composer in operas, anthems, oratorios andorgan concerts. His musics are Messiah that is in English, composed in 1941, Aria, RejoiceGreatly, O daughter of Zion, all are his famous music. The Messiah referred to an oratorio whichis the biggest music work intended for orchestras & vocalists that consists of theme withreligious emphasis. Other three compositions i.e. Aria, Rejoice Greatly and O daughter of Zionare considered as beautiful pieces that expresses great happiness and cheerfulness. The most vitaldirections which were taken by him were; the composition of English dramatic oratorios, and thesurge of instrumental music used in conjunction. He also made Op. 3 and Op. 6 Concertu Grossi which were also popular as well as, TheCuckoo and the Nightngale, in which there were birds that are heard calling during passagesplayed in various keys demonstrating the vocal ranges of two birds. It has been observed that,after George Frideric death, his Italian operas fell into obscurity. 2. The Career and Music of George Frideric Handel In his early life George Frideric Handel was reported to have attended gym in Hallewhere his headmaster was a repute composer. However, Mainwaring records that he wroteweekly when he was assistant to Zachow and as probationary organist at Domkirche were part ofhis duty was to give suitable music. Lang doubts the dating based on a handwritten date of acopy and stylistic consideration.
