Abstract
The thesis paper is based on development of Integrated Resort in Singapore. The study is focused
on reviewing the project management principles and concepts in development of Integrated
Resort (IR). The development work is also considered the economic, social as well as
environmental factors. There is development of existing knowledge related to project
management theme used in developing of resort within SE Asia and Singapore. Development
work of IR is playing a key role to boost economy of Singapore and it will attract the customers
and grow in the customers. The researcher analyzes three case studies examples to achieve of IRs
that have been established in SE Asia. After examination of the case studies, the projects should
establish a proposed IR development on the East Coast of Singapore will have positive impacts
on visitors as well as to the local community. The selected research method for this research
paper is primary data collection by means of surveying 30 local residents and people those are
taking an opportunity of the Integrated Resort. The survey questions are to be selected on
environmental plus social impacts of development work. Quantitative data analysis is performed
on the collected data where the data are analyzed by statistical method and regression analysis.
Recommendations are provided that the development work should require implementing
construction policies and supporting from the government to gain higher benefits and financial
profits.
