Summary of the interview-
According to the responses found in the interview, everything seems to be
disappointing because the environment in the Beganup is going to lose its heritage of
education. The community the area has developed a tremendous support and collaboration.
According to Janice, people in the area have developed the environment for the progress of
education. Children of today’s and coming generation is most likely to lose the opportunity
for gaining education in a proper way. This is because, in today’s highly competitive society,
it is so difficult for people to gain education from distant areas. In this context, Handa (2002)
commented that closure drags on into the fact which has become a significant concern of the
scholars today. It has been identified that Department of Education is in general fully funded
with the initiative of several other agencies in the process. On the other side, Allan (2009)
mentioned that institutions that depend on grating funding to perform their mission like the
research universities are not only dealing with the urgent or immediate influence of the
shutdown but they are already observing much longer terms consequences. Nonetheless,
when it comes to the development of financial institutions like school, it is certain that
community must have to be aware of the fact that engagement of the society must be
considered. This fact is also found in the interview between Janice and Martine, where Janice
has mentioned that “you have lived in a country town and you know what it is like. We are
farmers we are probably a bit slow to react but when we do we come out fighting”/
“We feel very strongly about this so we are going to organise community drops,
leaflets and we are also in a marginal electorate so everyone votes here and they are going
to know about this in Canberra as well as back in Perth”.
The above two statement help to observe the fact that the community in Perth is quite
enthusiastic about the initiatives of the closure of the school in the area. The event makes it

clear that a hardly member in the community is agreeing to the same as every individual in
the society holds an opposite view about the closure of the school. On the contrary, the idea
of Janice about the expansion and quality of education is quite justified and appropriate. This
means it is not always good to state that a bigger institute could generate better opportunity
for school kids to learn. However, this is no exception in a small town school and all that
need is, a state of consistency into the effort and stiff. Moreover, Janice tried to prove the fact
that in a wider community, it is largely difficult for individual or the community to apply the
concept of middle schooling but it can be done where people have already come far to 7 to 10
years. This means such initiative will not go wasted. This is certain that middle schooling can
be done when the community or the area is equipped with the concept of class teaching and
tuitions all grades.
We have got from Year 7 to Year 10 in together and we are able to, I mean it had all the
research in that article of why Middle schooling is really a good thing and I think it really
pertains to our school here
It is necessary for parents or the family to grow and prepare their kids in the middle school as
it is mostly the time when the kids are mentally prepared to deal with or adapt to the culture
of high school.

is seeking to provide tutorials for the middle schooling.
It had all the research in that article of why Middle schooling is really a good thing and I
think it really pertains to our school here. I mean it is really close, they do lots of peer
tutoring across the grades”
On the contrary, Giblin, Collins and Button (2014) mentioned that middle school
could be often challenging for both parents and school kids. This is because the author of this

school is a top most requirement and the peers and their friends often should count on the
child as lucky and they should refrain from keeping too much pressure on him to receive
good grades. On the other side, the students who want to do well, they might not be needing a

whole lot of parental stress. However, this concept is opposite to the interview findings where
Janice’s view is about developing a middle school where the children could do well instead
of getting into a wider community. Woessmann (2016) mentioned that in order to gain a good
education, presents should be conscious about the progress of their children’s education.
When the children are in the pressure of gaining a new education, it is certain that parental
guidance is highly required. This could happen because it is true that some kids or children
might not be able to gain the necessary practice of the middle school education.
Furthermore, the interview analysis helps to observe the fact that Janice has
mentioned about the need of Distance Education; thus, it is worth mentioning that this is

opportunities to students who were once deprived from education or those who cannot afford

That's right, and we have also got really good tie ins to TAFE so there is courses run that
the kids can do here. We are in close monitoring with their tutors as well so if the teachers
don't have time or are stretched, also parents come in and help with those things

consequence of such progression. A contradictory statement found in the interview analysis –
older kids must be mixed with the children, so that they could look after them and a give and
take environment can be developed and according to Janice, it is good to see small kid
playing with the older kid. Janice stated the fact that this initiative has been applied to deal
with the issue of age grouping. However, this issue was also found in an article where the
authors have stated that creating differences in ages could prevent the scope of learning or

some of the local parents tried to shift their children to some local schools and they send them
by bus to Beganup. Moreover, the environment near the school is a significant concern where
people could live and they remain naturally connected.
On the other side, tofi, and Farrington (2012) mentioned that the fact contrary to
conventional views of bullying just like the mere child play, studies show that bullying has a
strong short-term and long-term adverse consequence for the targeted children and others
observe bullying. Moreover, it can be added that children who are bullied are more likely to
suffer from a large variety of psychological disorder with the inclusion of the depression and
anxiety.
