As number of business organization usedigital technologies for implementing their activities which may lead in saving cost and time ofthe company. In addition of this, one of the main advantage of using digital technology withinthe business organization is to increase reputation of the firm in front of customers by providingthem better services. It includes various tools such as social media cloud technologies, resourcesand many more to make overall process of the firm easy and simple as well (Berman and et. al.,2012). This will contribute in developing positive brand image of the company at market place. Current research is based on Mr. John Watches i.e. a small company who wants toexpand their business activities in another new areas with the purposes of establishingcompetitive image. For attaining the same, company implement the concept of digital technologywithin their activities through which they can easily reach large number of customers andprovide them quality services as per their needs and wants. In this context, cloud technology ismore beneficial for administration department of the company because it help in sharing, storingand filing the information in effective manner. With the assistance of this, company can easilyassess to share pools of information and data. The main aim of Mr. John is to enhance theirprofitability level by implementing cloud technology within their business activities. 1.2 Background of the researchConcept of digital technology play crucial role in providing opportunities to smallbusiness organization to enhance their growth level at market place. It refers to various tools andresources such as social media, cloud computing and many more to make their entire processeasy and appropriate. As per current scenario, use of digital technology is important because ithelp in increasing the chances of attaining positive outcomes and at the same time alsoestablished positive brand image at market place. In addition of this, for sharing, storing,
managing data and information, cloud technology is one of the important technology. With thehelp of this, company can easily manage data and information without any kind of issues. It alsoaid in enhancing the chances of attaining higher success at market place. Along with this, cloudcomputing is an effective computer program through which firm can easily deliver informationtechnology service through web-based tools (Cheng and Lai, 2012). Mainly, it referred to “thecloud” which the process of delivery of on-demand computing resources to one place to anotherwith appropriate security. 1.3 Significance of the studyThis section is one of the important part of research which help in determining the waysto attain appropriate results by reducing any kind of issues and obstacles. In this the main aim ofconducting this research to evaluate the impact of digital technology on small businessorganization growth and productivity. Through concept of digitalisation, company can easilymaintain their overall performance at market place by delivering quality services to largernumber of customers. As cloud technology is beneficial for business organization to share andstore all the relevant information about customers, staff members and its activities as well. Thiswill contribute in increasing the productivity level of the firm at market place. As per currentscenario, every company wants to secure their data and information from any kind of hackingand negative aspects. For this, company will implement the cloud technology within theirbusiness activities through which company can attain various benefits to store information anddata safe and secure.
