In order to analyse the depression and its effect human's life is very important and critical
as well. Depression is considered as medical illness which affect the behaviour of person in
negative manner. The main cause if depression is loss of interest or feelings of sadness while
doing work. There are different kinds of depressive disorders such as major or minor depression
and bipolar disorder (Aveyard, 2014). Furthermore, sadness and depression both are the different
things. Sadness may be a cause of depression. It is also known as bio-chemical disorder
developed in the brain of human. Various factors which plays an important role in depression
such as personality, environmental and social factors, genetics or biochemistry.
Rationale of the study
Research on depression and analysis of it affects on human's life is very essential because
it is considered as illness which is very complex itself. It affects many factors which are directly
or indirectly connected by them (Brett and et.al., 2014). It is necessary to examine factors which
are the causes of depression. Because this investigation will help a person who is depressed and
can get right medication and better treatment. In addition to this, this research project identify the
ways by which society can assist the patients as it is the main component of human's life.
Aims and objectives

1.2 Analyse the factors which contribute to research project
Purpose : This factor is the most and common in every research project. Aims and objectives of
the project should be clear and goal oriented. It depends on the title of the project and provide
ways by which researcher can get the relevant information and data. It should be specific,
measurable, achievable, real and time bounded (Glasby, 2017).
Scope : Research project have wide and broad area to analyse the effects of depression of
human's life. This examine includes all the factors regarding to different ages of human. In
addition to this, this investigation is mainly based on women's behaviour which are affected by
depression. There are many causes which produce this illness (Gradinger and et.al., 2015).
Interest : Investigation of the project depends on the interest level of researcher. As there are
various sources to collect data and information or different methods to analyse them. Usage of
sources and methods depends on the interest level of researcher. many of the times researchers
use secondary sources to gather information as it is easy and simple technique(Moss, 2017).
1.3 Literature review
Factors of depression which affects the person's life
As per the view of Aveyard (2014), Depression is a medical illness which can affect
every area of person's life. Humans who are suffering form this illness often also turn in ways to
take alcohol and drugs. It can change the behaviour and attitude of human which may consider
general showing down, poor memory, feeling difficulty in making decisions, avoiding the
responsibilities and duties or incapable to concentrate on something. It can affect a human's
physical and emotional health, thinking and social activity. Chamberlain, Wolstenholme and
Dexter (2015), stated that Sometimes depression can lead to suicide attempt. The illness affects
the person's himself strongly. It is the first component of factors which are affected by
depression. In addition to this, there are many causes of this illness as low energy, loss of interest
level, poor sleep and sadness.
Depression is affecting the family members
According to Rämgård, Blomqvist and Petersson (2015), If a person is depressed then it
has also affected their family members and friends. depressed person is always become in angry
mood and this angriness can harm their supporters. moreover, there many other causes of this

illness which impacts in various manner. In addition to this, It is very difficult to deal with
depressed person. Fried and Nesse (2015) interpret that A person who are suffering from this
illness, must learn to realize how their medical illness affects their friends and family members.
Family members have to provide better treatment to that person which assist the patient towards
recovery.
To identify that it is easy or hard to find a job for a person who is suffering form this illness
Glasby (2017) stated that It is not easy for a depressed person to get job because a
company will not hire that person who is not capable to do something. It is necessary to put all
the efforts to gain better outcomes and success but depressed employees are not interested to
complete their duties and responsibilities. they also affect other workers in negative manner.
There are many others factor of this medical illness which may develop negative environment
and culture. According to Munro, Taylor and Bradbury‐Jones (2014) If a recruiter or human
resource manager who is hiring the persons for a specific job has no idea about these illnesses of
a human then they will provide job easily but it is not consistence for long term. Company will
know about this factor by analysis the performance level of employees.
1.4 Research methodology
Introduction : Research is an important factor to analyse the specific study. Investigator conduct
two types of research as observational and experimental. Methods that are utilized for conducting
research are known as research methodology which fall into three various groups as collection of
data, statistical methods and analysis of data (Shapero and et.al., 2014). It includes several stages
as identify problems, literature review, research design, sampling size, ethical issues, analysis
and presentation of outcomes, testing, interpretation, report writing and publication. In addition
to this, Report defines which methods and techniques used by researcher. As investigator is using
interpretivism research design, quantitative data collection method and descriptive data analysis
technique to accomplish the research project.
Research design : It helps in arranging all the conditions regarding to collecting and analysing
the data to achieve aims and objectives of the research project. It has different parts such as
sampling, observational, statistical and operational. sampling design deals with the techniques of
picking appropriate items to be determined for the project while observational associates to the
situations under which finding are to be made (Rämgård, Blomqvist and Petersson, 2015).
Statistical concern with the query that how data and information will be analyse? In addition to

this, operational design deals with the methods by which programmes contented in sampling.

information. Choosing appropriate method depends on the requirements and design of the study.
Mostly, data are classified into two parts as quantitative and qualitative. Sources of gathering
data are known as primary and secondary (Chamberlain, Wolstenholme and Dexter, 2015).
Qualitative data has no numerical values as these are descriptive information while quantitative
data are information which can be counted in numerical values. Primary data has various
techniques to collect data but under this source, researcher gathered information which are not
published before. However, In secondary data, researcher use those data which are already
published.
Analysis of data : Data collection is not enough. To measure the purity and relevancy, data
analysis is required. Researcher collected data and information through various sources so it is
essential to be ensure that all data are relevant to the aims and objectives of the study. There are
different issues and causes to analysed the data as draw unbiased inference, determine statistical

descriptive and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis includes frequency distribution, central
tendency and measurement of variability while inferential analysis includes T-test, analysis of
