The main purpose of this report is to understand differentaim, objectives and required gaols of the research project fro analysing the growth of thecompany. In this research will be covered about the research approach and differentmethodologies such as sampling, data analysis and others. Further will be included about datacollection, ethical consideration and recommendation.TASK 1Research Proposala) Research project descriptionThis project is related to the globalisationwhich is a chain of activities to interact withpeople and organisation, firm and governmentof different nations. It can be a process ofinteraction with the international consumers so that the organisation get information about theirlife style and culture or provide products according them. For this, the researcher can use Gantt Chartand time scale to provide atime duration by that allresearch works andprocedures toaccomplish tasksand a specified time duration which is provided to each task.Gantt chart is anchart which bifurcate worsk and activities in small slots so that they can help them. This chartinclude the tasks to be performed on the vertical axis and time intervals on the horizontal axis. Inthe graph, the width of the horizontal bars shows the duration of each activity. This chart isimportant to make plan and schedule projects. It help the researcher to assess that how long theproject should take, monitor the resources needed and make plan according to the project.Work break down structure is a method of organising and completing work in a project. Itis a key project deliverable that organise team's work into manageable sections. TASK 2IntroductuionLiterature review is an narrative review which is an scholarly article and containingknowledge and information to reach at desirable outcomes.(Chkanikova and Mont, 2015). Inresearch, it is important and necessary to place each work in the context of its contribution tounderstanding and monitoring the research problem being suited. Fro example, in the research ofWaitrose, it is necessary to point the way in fulfilling a need for additional research.Literature ReviewTo determine the impact of globalization on food retailAccording to Victoria Duff, retailing is one of the area that remains primarily local isgrocery stores and globalization advances the retailers interest or the market place providesretailers the new scope of buying functions. For example, in thisresearch project, it is necessary to make plan so that the researcher can easily complete itsresearch (Hirsch and Schiefer, 2016). In context of this research, it can be a plan that span the allthe steps by which data can be collect, analyse and interpret. There are two types of researchapproaches such as:5
Deductive Approach- It is an approach which can be explained by the means of hypotheses. This approach is based on deductive logic, logical deductionfrom one or more authorities tocomply with a logically confident judgement. It works from the more general to the morespecific and based on theory, statement and hypothesis works.Inductive Approach- This approach also known as inductive reasoning which is based onobservation. It involves the search for pattern from observation and development of explantationtheories which are related to hypothesis (Hirst, Thompson and Bromley, 2015). It is use by theresearcher because it is a method of reasoning in which the premisses are viewed as supplyingsupplying and some information and evidence is based on truth.MethodologiesResearch methodology is a process that is used by the researcher to collect data andinformation for the purpose of completing the research and getting objective of it. It includepublication research, surveys, interviews and other various research techniques thatcan beavailed throughthe research to collet andcollecting substancerelated to theinvestigating.Thetypes of research methodologies are as respective:Qualitative research-this is a research method by observationto gather or collect dataand information. By using it, the researcher get non numeric data in form of definitions, characteristics, concepts, symbols and others. In thismethodology, substanceis gather on thebasis of attribute that accent by examine mental representation of group. In this research project, the research follow qualitative research to gather and collect data or information to achieve theobjective of this research.Quantitative research-this is a method whichI usethroughresearcherforgather numericalinformation or datato take appropriate decisions in terms of completing research or attain theobjective of research. By using this research, the researcher can gather appropriate numeric dataand do systematic empirical investigation of observable phenomenon with the help of statistical, mathematical or computational techniques.Primary research- It is a research method which is used by the researcher to collectinformation related to a particular and specific issues and problem within business of theorganisation. It include survey, questionnaire and others method to gather data (Inglis andGimlin, 2015). With the help of primary research, the researcher can get accurate and reliable6
