The major purpose of selecting this particular topic is to make sure that companies operating at
international level applies the authentic framework while preparing annual reports that reduces the
chances of misrepresentation of statement. Thus, it is very much crucial for companies like HSBC to
present financial information in authentic reports so that quality of statement can be increased.
In relation to academic situation, there is a vast importance of research that support to give best
knowledge about a specific study area and theories that aid to resolve the issues in authentic manner to
increase the efficiency of results.
In recent study related to impact of globalisation on financial services helps researcher to get involved in
research process that help to make out valuable suggestion for growth in upcoming time. It support

globalisation, which is beneficial to conduct business at competitive and large market.

According to Fredrick Exison, the endless movement of people, goods and services in different part of
world is defines as globalisation. It is related with opening of global economy and concomitant growth in
trade among various countries so that they liberalize their entire import protocols and invite more
number of foreign investment in main sectors which are crucial for economic development. The major

importance of Globalisation are it help to increase household income, boost the economy and develop
new opportunities. It also help to reduces the gender and cast discrimination between individual working
within company. The most significance is that it help to increase real wages by reducing the cost of
consumption.
Major impact of globalisation financial reporting.
As per the opinion of Razvan V. Mustata (2007), the influence of globalisation is examined for the
perspective that is the cause and effect relationship that have a major importance on significances of the
phenomenon. As the procedure to prepare and maintain accurate financial report in almost every part of
world is done by following IFRS that are International financial reporting standard. This help in better
understanding of report and stakeholder can easily interpret gross and net profit of companies during an
accounting year. There are number of IFRS statements that are issued and used by respective company
such as:

Major strength of Globalisation to HSBC.
There are number of advantage of Globalisation that help companies in greater context that support to

grow profit and increase business. In respect to HSBC, Globalisation of financial report help them to
develop the accurate and authentic reports that can be understood by different countries. The uses
internally accepted accounting standard while preparing financial reports so that it help in free movement
of labour among countries. The main strength of global international system is that is compensate for the
main and the partner working for the same international organisation.
Main challenges faced by Company due to Globalisation
As per the opinion of Crane, A. 2016, there are number of challenges and obstacles that are faced by
companies while globalising financial reporting standards such as vulnerability to external economic
shocks, inflation, trade imbalance and also reduces the employment level due to which HSBC required
skilled workforce and team member that can manage various services.
