Main issue: In the political cartoon, the cartoonist has indicated about the issues of “Brexit”
in United Kingdom ("Editorial Cartoons on Brexit", 2019). The issues of the problem have
been prolonging in the country.
The Government of UK is involved in the problem. The event unfolded due to the conflict
between UK and the European Union.
The event took place because of the difference in the opinions among the leaders of the
Government of UK and the leaders of the European Union.
The public of the country is still not supportive for the Government. This is also resulting in
number of protests around the country which is a big concern.

Concepts or key terms: The key term that has been used in this cartoon is Brexit. This forms
the concept of political issues that are prevalent in the terms of the conflicts regarding the
decision from the Government of UK.
In the cartoon, the cartoonist has not biased any kind of information.
The perspectives of the cartoonist have been on creating humour based on the issues of Brexit
that has been prevalent in the country.
The cartoonist has drawn the image of a flight and indicated that the Government of UK is
ready to exit from the European Union as soon as possible.
The only missing thing in the cartoon is the expression of the people of the UK on the
decision. The article only presented an idea on the scenario.

Main issue: In the 9th article of the newspaper, author has raised the concern about the
increasing number of homicides in Canada.
The Government of Canada and the accused of homicides are involved in this article.
In the recent years, there has been case of 90 homicides in Toronto which is a shocking
numbers compared to previous years ("CTV National News: Top 10 news stories of 2018",
2019).
The events took place due to increase of hatred among the people and lack of proper law of
gun control.
These incidents have brought in fear among the people of Canada since the last few years.
Key concepts: In this article, the author has briefly mentioned the problems of homicide that
have been prevalent in the country.
There has been no bias in the article and the author has aptly provided the fact with recent
data. In this article, the perspective of the author is based on the growing problems for the
Government to tackle these issues. The perspectives of the local people on this incident are
missing. This article only provides an opinion on the growing issue.
