ABSTRACT
Main purpose of this research is to identify the reasons of international students while doing
online shopping. This is a main purpose that has been achieved by gathering and evaluating
quantitative data from 50 respondents who are female under the age group of 18-25. Along with
this, comparative analysis has been completed by comparing some questions in detailed manner.
For this, comparative graphs have been developed according to the questions that helped in
presenting of data in effective manner. Main discussion of this study is about online shopping
that how it is more continent for international students as compare to in-store shopping. Overall,
hypothesis has been accepted and purpose is also achieved by researcher.

INTRODUCTION
Background to the topic
Online shopping is a form of e-commerce that allows consumers to purchase products or
services from a seller on internet using a mobile app or web browser. There are various reasons
for international students to buy products or service online (Etumnu and Widmar, 2020). These
are; online shopping is more convenient, saves time and efforts etc.
Reference to previous research
According to the Kuhn, Ihmels and Kutzner (2021), online shopping refers to the action or
activity of purchasing services or products over the internet.
As per the opinion of Rogus and et. al., (2020), there are different reasons of using online
shopping for international customers. These are; better price, more variety, no sales pressure,
quick returns, easy price comparison etc.
According to the Seeland, Stoesz and Vogt (2020), there are also some disadvantages of
online shopping such as delay in delivery, frauds, lack of close examination etc.
Identification of gap of knowledge
Main gap of the current research is reasons why international students do online shopping.
In previous studies, there were lots of data available regarding the use of online shopping but
there were lack of information regarding the significance of using online shopping for
international customers (Wang, Li and Chau, 2020).
Purpose of the research
Main purpose of this research is to identify the reasons why international students do
online shopping.
Statement of hypothesis
1. Convenience is a main reason using retail online shopping for international students
