Research title: “To determine the impact of technical influences on businesses operating
globally. A case study on Amazon”.
INTRODUCTION
Introduction
Globalisation is considered as umbrella term which has brought a wide range of changing
activity in a way businesses operate their functions. In this report, researcher will present the
study based on technical influences on enterprises which operates in global business with the
case study of Amazon (Flach and et.al., 2018). Further, proper aims and objectives will get
developed in order to create an appropriate path for reaching on efficiency of the study. Later on
difference perceptions of authors which has provided their knowledge and experience in this
field through their journal and articles will be evaluated. Proper data analysing and finding will
also be present in this report for effectiveness of the study.
Background of the study
Globalisation is the term because of which technology and cheap access to energy have
changes the way of doing businesses across the world. It has also reduces the cost for certain
types of transactions which relates to international businesses (Shannon, 2018). It is analysed
that because of globalisation transaction costs of businesses gets reduced, government policies
and practises gets changed and it has also improved the way of doing business communication.
Thus, the researcher has selected to determine the impact technical influences on businesses
operating globally with the case study of Amazon organisation. It is found that Amazon.com has
become an important part in the economy of American and the live of people globally. However,
there are some impact which company has to face because of implementation of globalisation.
Problem statement
It has been analysed that because of globalisation, both small as well large organisations
has to face the influences of technology in their business operations. It is also a fact that effect of
technologies changes the economic structure and also has created an immense transformation in
the way businesses organise their production, trade goods, invest capital and develop new
products. The main problem which entity has to face is the adoption of new technologies because
of which domestic market has been captured by the other multinational organisations.

Rationale
The fundamental reason behind choosing this research project is to find the major
technological influences which are associated with the businesses operating globally. This study
will be created under the proper guidance of tutor which will helps in eliminating the gap of
writing a literature review which is considered as the compulsory requirement of doing any
research study. It is been true that thousands of studies have been previously conducted to study
various aspect of globalisation but this is the topic which is far away to be exhausted. This study
will also help in solving specific problems and will also help in contributing level of professional
development and to improve academic career of the researcher.

LITERATURE REVIEW
It is the process or a type of reviewing articles written by different authors which has
deep knowledge and experience in the field of selected research study. This is the method which
includes current knowledge written in scholarly paper including substantive findings on
particular topic.

In accordance with the views of Verbeke, Coeurderoy and Matt (2018) it is stated that the most
significant role in influencing the modern life in present day is unquestionably the term
technology. The author has elaborated the explanation on the effects of technological system and
its impact upon human life. More emphasis is provided on the technological society where the
perception of people got changes and shows that the core of civilized world is not the assets but
it is the technique. It has been analysed with the perception of author that technology has the
most significant role which has influence the living standards of people. The five such points
which has been analysed are automatism, self-development, monism, universalism and
autonomy. It is also been analysed that small businesses practises now also gets improved
because of this technological implementation where they are also providing a tough competition
to large businesses with more alternative products and services.
However, on the contrary it is been argued by the García-Vega, Hofmann and Kneller
(2019) that the present technical system is the need for people of 21st century. It is a tool because
of which now communication has been easy for the people live in global world. Thus, in
accordance with author one of the most significant outcomes in progress of information
technology is probably an Internet. Its influence has become so great that the day will not get
passed without the use of such technologies. Such changes have brought a long term benefits to
society where the work and living standards of people get rises.
According to the views of Karlsson, Cornett and Wallin (2018) it is argued that the
because of technological implementation, humanity across the society has been decreased and
presence of more and more machines is there but this is the need for today's society of people in
comparison to nineteenth century. However, authors emphasis that during the period of
nineteenth century there is a hierarchical system which is with the linear progression where
information technology process has become automatic and easily recognisable. Through this
process, people did not have to show their more capabilities because technological adoption has
been developed with efficient innovation in it. Thus, it is analysed that the argument of the
