Abstract
The current research study is based on the several factors that affect the children birthday party.
Researcher has main aim is to analyse the several factors that influence the event management
program of children birthday party. For achieve this objective, scholar have focused on the
several kinds of research question and objective related to the concept of event management,
significance of the event management factors that is to be considered for event management of
children's birthday parties etc. In order to achieve this objective, researcher have applied
qualitative research method and conducted survey of 10 managers of Trade associate UK.

Abstract
Event management is a procedure of planning, evaluating and implementing the activities
according to the specific festival, event, occasion etc. With assistance of the effective event
management, organisation can effectively execute and implement the plan for the activities and
function at workplace. The major aim of the researcher is to analyse the factor to be considered
for event management of children's birthday parties with respect of Touch Associates in UK. For
attain the objective of research, scholar will apply several tools and techniques of research
methodology by which right solution of the research problem can obtain in an effective and
efficient manner. Rationale of the study and significance of the study has been also included in
this chapter one which provide the factor that affect the researcher at the time of selecting
research topic. In the section two researchers have included literature review along with several
themes about the event management and its associated components. In the section third various
methods of the research methodology has been included and in the section four researchers have
interpreted the collected information of event management so as right outcome can easily obtain.

function at workplace. In this aspect, event manager have to focus on the budgeting, planning
and implementing of the activities so as effective outcome can occurs in effective manner. Event
manager have to focus on the date and time, location, food and desserts, activities, performance
of the festivals and occasion regarding to organise event in an effective and efficient manner. In
the current research project, the major aim of the researcher is to analyse the factor to be
considered for event management of children's birthday parties with respect of Touch Associates
in UK. It is an event communication agency that provide event management and event
communication solution for multinational corporations and smaller independent businesses in the
United kingdom and United states. The organisation is incorporated in 2009 and offers several
services in the area of product launches, incentives, recognition events, road show, sales meeting
and corporate meeting. For attain the objective of research, scholar will apply several tools and
techniques of research methodology by which right solution of the research problem can obtain
in an effective and efficient manner. In this current research study, the section one is about
introduction under which various objective and hypothesis has been framed.

Research Implication
In order to conduct the research study, researcher required several kinds of the resources
like time, fund, human resource etc. By limited availability of the fund, it will become hard for
the researcher to carry out the study (Neuman and Robson, 2012). In order to decrease the
negative impact of lack of availability of fund, researcher will use activity based costing method.
Another resource is time as researcher have very limited time period. In order to overcome
negative impact of the time, scholar will apply Gantt chart method under which each research
activity can conduct according to the specific time period. In addition to this method helps to
scholar in dividing the entire time duration into the small period.
While selecting the research project topic, there are several kinds of the factor that given
contributions. One major factor is individual interest and curiosity to analyse the factor of event
management for organising children birthday party (Hollensen, 2015). Researcher wanted to
explore his knowledge and understanding about the subject that is why this topic has been

activities and function for the future. Event manager plays a crucial role in implementing a
successful event at workplace so as right activity can conducts. In the absence of event manager,
organisation can not plan and implement the activities for execute the occasion. As per the view
of Wu and Liao, (2016) event planning is one of the significant part of the event management
which have major aim is development of the road map with focus on the problems. In the
contradicting view of Joy and McMunigal, (2013) event management is a procedure of using
business management and organisation skills to plan and execute various kinds of events,
program, festival, parties etc. In the opinion of Han and Kim, (2010) Event management as a
field that mainly parties and wedding but it includes several kinds of occasion that either require
or could benefit from event management. In the opinion of Hollows and Jones, (2010) in order
to organise the effective event management program, event manager requires designing an
impressive event planning and schedule. Many other corporation use event management firm to
organise and coordinate their business regarding events, parties and meeting. In In the
contradicting view of , Hohn, (2013) stated that event management needed to develop a strong
budget and cost which is associated with the event.
Factors considered at the time of organising event of children's birthday party
According to the view of Eubanks Joinson and Dove, (2016) while any event
management organisation is going to organise event for the children birthday party then they
have to focus on the several factors that plays a significant role within the event management
organisation. In the opinion of Simons, Vermeulen and Knoben, (2016) birthday party are a
great boost to any children self esteem and it makes feel children like king and queen.

that an event is ever pulled off without at least one issue. Thus, it is very important for the event
manner to have back up plan so as it can improve effectiveness of the event.

Research methodology is significant aspect in the research study that assists to scholar in
addressing the issue of the research in right manner. Research methodology is a procedure of
collecting, analyse, assessing and evaluating information so as right outcome of the study can
easily obtain (Özerdem and Bowd, 2016). Researcher can address the final solution of the
research study with help of several techniques that are included in the research methodology
such as research design, research technique, research approach, research philosophies, data

collection, data analysis, sampling etc (Research Methodology. 2015). In the present research
study, the major aim of the scholar is to analyse the factors to be considered for event

objective, researcher will apply several methods and techniques of research methodology which
are discussed below-
 Research Philosophies- With assistance of this method in the research methodology
researcher can analyse the study in more effective and efficient manner so as right

Interpretivism and positivism is major two technique in the research philosophies. In the

assists to scholar in collecting information about the subject. In the absence of data
collection, scholar can not collect information about the subject. Major primary and

secondary two kinds of data collection method used in the study. While information
gather from survey, observation, interview etc then it is known as the primary data
collection. On the other hand while information collects from the secondary sources such
as books, journal, articles, online blogs etc then it is known as the secondary data
collection (Taylor, Bogdan and DeVault, 2015). In the current study, the major aim of the
researcher is to analyse the factors to be considered for event management of children's
birthday parties with respect of Touch associates in UK thus researcher will use primary
data collection method under which survey will conduct for collect fresh information
about the event management.
 Sampling- This is another one of the significant aspect in the research methodology that
assists in selecting some group of people from the entire population. In the present study,
scholar will select 10 managers of the Touch associates UK organisation for collect
information about the event management.

resources which should match with research question in the study. The major important resource
is human resource which required by the researcher in gathering the primary information about
the subject. Another major important resource is time as in the absence of sufficient time period,
scholar can not conduct researcher in effective and efficient manner. In order to match the
resource with research question, researcher have divided the entire time duration in the 8 weeks
so as research question can easily address in effective and efficient manner. Another major
important resource is finance which required to initiate several activities of the investigation.
In order to conduct the research and collect information, scholar have used qualitative
research technique. In order to conduct the survey, researcher have prepared a systematic
questionnaire along with several questions regarding event management and factor that is to be
consider for children birthday party. Researcher have taken the personal email id of 10 managers
of the Touch Associates in UK so as they can give their responses regarding event management
program in the cited venture. This is the best method for conducting survey because in this way
respondents can freely share their views and opinion regarding event management in the Touch
Associates.
