helps to focus on produce more goods at large scale in international areas (Laudon and Traver,
2016). It also utilises resources from all over the world so that finance and technology has been
used to focus on more effectiveness of business. Furthermore, global business environment
increase opportunities with its market share and customer base.

In order to conduct present study, it can be stated that it is important to identify benefits
and drawbacks to deal in global business environment. This is because, in international areas
several effectiveness increases to focus on desired level of performances. With the help of
operations expansion in international areas, it can be stated that Hilton hotel will able to increase
customer attraction from different countries (Lewis, Gertsakis and Sweatman, 2017). As a result,
it helps to deliver desired level of goals and objectives in systematic manner. Furthermore, it can
be stated that study helps to seek in international markets to expand sales and gain more
profitability at workplace.

With the help of present study, purpose of research will be accomplish. Therefore, study
seek to contextualise with its findings in larger body. Research must always considered in high
quality to produce knowledge that is applicable outside the research setting. Furthermore,

In order to conduct research, there are different methods ascertained that assists to focus
on primary and secondary research. It assists to find relevant information and collect data from
several sources. They are as follows: Research philosophy: In the present study, interpretivism research philosophy has been
selected that contain small size of sample to consider in-depth analysis (Smith, 2016). As
a result, it is more suitable technique for the present study. Research approach: From these all, researcher select deductive approach which premises
true conclusion (Kao, Yu and Wu, 2016). It is used to consider problem generalising with
general to specific and find effectiveness as well. Research design: In the present study, descriptive research design has been used that
assists to describe issue and problem with in-depth analysis (Bellini, 2017). This is
because, globalisation study required in-depth analysis and experiment. Research strategy: Qualitative and quantitative, two types of research strategy from
which researcher select qualitative method to find relevant information (Murshed and
Zhang, 2016). Data collection: In the present study, benefits and drawbacks of globalisation on
international businesses has been analysis with primary and secondary information. In
this consideration, both kinds of information needed in the business to execute successful
plan at workplace of research. Primary data collected from questionnaires which design
to conduct survey in business. Furthermore, secondary information gather from previous
research papers, authors views, etc. (Sun and Lipsitz, 2018). Data analysis: In order to consider present study, it can be stated that thematic data
analysis strategy has been ascertained that assists to focus on appropriate collection of

information. In this regard, different themes as per questionnaires has been made that is
helpful to collect relevant information in research (Field, Künzel and Schemmann, 2016). Sampling: There are two types of sampling methods such as probabilistic and non-
probabilistic. In the present study, researcher select probabilistic method in which simple
random sampling strategy has been selected in which 10 managers of Hilton hotel has
been selected from primary information will be gather (Robson and McCartan, 2016). Ethical consideration: Major ethical issue in conducting research are informed consent,
respect for privacy, respect for anonymity, etc. Therefore, researcher focus on ethics that
followed to maintain effectiveness in research. Informed consent form helps to gain
proper results from conducting research (Fox and Alldred, 2015).
 Validity and reliability: Validity and reliability consider extent to which scores represent
variables that are intended to positive results. Present study collect data and information
from reliable and authentic sources that is useful to gain positive results. Reliability is a
measure of stability and consistency for test scores (Schuh and Woelk, 2017).
Conduct primary and secondary research with using appropriate methods for business research
project and include cost, access and ethical issues
In the present research, primary and secondary research considered with using
appropriate methods for business research project. Therefore, it includes following elements in
the present study: Cost: With respect to conduct present study, it can be stated that primary and secondary
research consider with using appropriate methods in business (Kao, Yu and Wu, 2016).
Therefore, it includes cost amount which would be helpful to implement right amount on
different activities. Access: In order to access reliable and authentic information, it can be stated that
researcher need to collect relevant data from different sources (Lewis, Gertsakis and
Sweatman, 2017). With this regard, it can be stated that appropriate access of data and
information must be ascertained in present study.
 Ethical issues: In the present study, there are different ethical issues occurs such as
relevant and authentic information. Therefore, it can be stated that in research, this issue
must be solved to focus on appropriate outcomes (Kao, Yu and Wu, 2016).

`Global market provides products to corporates, governments and institutions worldwide.
Products and services includes different things that assists to focus on transactions. However,
there are several drawbacks also exists in the business with global business environment (Sassen,
2016).
For instance, when business entering into global areas they need to be aware for several
aspects such as market knowledge, culture, etc. Furthermore, hire additional staff help to launch
their companies in global areas. Furthermore, in new place regulations and tax laws in foreign
countries takes time and money which is major drawback to the organisation (Boshyk, 2016).
B) Literature review
According to the point of Boddewyn, (2016), globalisation encourages producers and
consumers which contain deeper division and economies of scale in the business. Therefore,
Hilton hotel has several advantages to implement globalisation and increase their business
expansion in international areas. With this regard, competitive market also increases that helps to
diminish monopoly profits and incentivise in the enterprise in positive consideration. On the
other hand, Brannen, Piekkari and Tietze, (2017) stated that globalisation consider advantages
from free movement of labour between countries so that it would be helpful to increase more
significant performances for business growth. This is because, it enhances awareness of several
consumers regarding new products and services. Therefore, they are attracted to face challenges
from climate change and wealth with income equality.
However, Schuh and Woelk, (2017) generated their views that inflation is continuously
increasing with globalisation in Hilton hotel. This is because, strong demand for food and energy
has caused to rise prices of the products. As a result, it is essential to solve these issues and

problems to protect people at great risk. Furthermore, there are several threats also occurs with
global environment that create major issues and problems to local people.
C) Research methodology
Research design :: Research design is an arrangement of conditions and collection. With this
regard, different types of research design exists such as descriptive, correlation, semi-
experimental and experimental. In the present study, descriptive research design has been used
that assists to describe issue and problem with in-depth analysis (Bellini, 2017). This is because,
globalisation study required in-depth analysis and experiment.
Research approach : Research approach is a plan and procedure which consider certain steps
and broad assumptions with detailed method of data collection, analysis and interpretation. There
are three types of research approach such as deductive, inductive and abductive. From these all,
researcher select deductive approach which premises true conclusion (Kao, Yu and Wu, 2016). It
is used to consider problem generalising with general to specific and find effectiveness as well.

Furthermore, it is also useful to contain small size of sample that is more suitable technique for
the present study. With the help of deductive approach, general with specific procedure
undertaken which helps to increase more understanding. Moreover, I had taken primary and
secondary both kinds of information that is useful to accomplish goals and objectives that are
established with appropriate outcomes.
There are several managers have views that globalisation is beneficial for Hilton hotel
because it helps to increase productivity and effectiveness in international market. On the basis
of globalisation activities, products and services can be promote in international areas easily. It
helps me to increase my learning with increasing customer attraction in different areas of the
world. However, I learned that there are several drawbacks also occurs with globalisation
activities to promote products and services in international business environment. Hence,
inequality is one of the major issue in front of the selected business enterprise. Moreover, poor
connection at domestic level increase issues and problems so that it can be stated that in
international business environment products and services can be promoted to attain overall goals
and objectives. Trade regulations are also major factors that create issue in the business to raise
performances.
Alternative research methodologies and lesson learnt from outcomes
In the present research, qualitative methodology strategy has been used that assists to find
relevant information and consider findings to maintain effectiveness in the research. With this
regard, researcher used qualitative information and data that assists to learnt from outcomes.
Apart from this, there are different types of alternative research methodology helps to find
relevant information (Kao, Yu and Wu, 2016). For instance, applied research or
fundamental research can be successfully implemented to find solution to immediate problems
that are facing in the society. Fundamental research is mainly concerned with formulation of
theory to gather knowledge with basic outcomes. Research is also concerning with natural
phenomena that is related with fundamental research. In addition to this, quantitative research
based on measurement of quantity and amount. It is also applicable to expressed in terms of

quantity. Hence, it is concerned with relating to involvement of quality or kind (Kao, Yu and
Wu, 2016).
g) Conclusion
From the above report, it can be concluded that globalisation is more useful concept for
increasing business in international areas. With this regard, present study summarised about
primary and secondary information that collected from different sources to find relevant
information and data to interpret results. Furthermore, it summarised about research
methodology which taken to focus on appropriate outcomes and extend business in international
areas. At last, data analysis and findings has been explained that contain primary research on the
basis of questionnaire.
