This considered as the most essential part of investigation as it refers as a predetermined statement
which helps the researcher in assisting the research activities in right direction. The potential aim of
this particular research is "To investigate the positive, economic, ethical and cultural on operations of
food retail industry". A study on Waitrose.
Research Objectives
To determine the impact of globalisation on food retail.
To collect and analyse secondary and primary data reflecting to benefits of globalisation on
Waitrose.
To present the clockwise effect of globalisation at Waitrose.
To investigate the positive economic and cultural influence on the online operations of
Waitrose.

A research project is based on some issue and the potential motive of an investigation is to addressing
the issue with the support of relevant data or information. The current area of study is based on the
positive, economic, ethical and cultural on operations of food retail industry. This is wide area of study
that helps the researcher in attaining wide area of knowledge in the chosen area of study. The major
purpose of this research is to understand the concept of globalisation and its influence on food retail
industry.
An another reason for conducting the research is to exploring the idea and knowledge base of learner
or researcher in the area of positive economic, ethical or cultural impact on the operations of food
retail. The wide area of knowledge in the specified area of study helps an individual in attaining their
future objectives in regards to globalised their business operation in appropriate manner.

enrich their business across the globe which provide employment and reduce poverty.
