TITLE: Managing cultural diversity in the workplace.
INTRODUCTION
Cultural diversity is explained as quality of the different cultures, global monoculture,
akin to the cultural diversity. It is having various cultural differences respect to each other. The
cultural diversity is main form of appreciating differences in people (Ayega and Muathe, 2018).
ASDA is super market retailer in Leeds, United Kingdom. It was founded by J.W. Hindell and
Noel Stockdale in year 1949. This company conducts workshops there were participate and
interactive for managing the cultural diversity at workplace. In present report, there will be
discussion about conducting literature review by using secondary sources. Different tools and
techniques will be used to gathering as well as analyzing data and information.

P1 Research proposal that defines research questions
Overview of Research
The cultural diversity refers to form of appreciating differences in people. Differences
can be on the basis of sex, gender, age, sexual orientation etc. At workplace, developing the
cultural competences outcomes is better ability to be understand and communicate with people
and also or with the different cultural schedules. The cultural diversity develops impact on the
organizational behavior (Brown, 2017). ASDA is supermarket and there is large number of
employees working and some of them are belong to different background. ASDA focus on
managing the cultural diversity at workplace for developing positive working environment.
Rationale of Research
The rationale to conduct present investigation is that it gives information regarding
cultural diversity at workplace. This helps in give the information and knowledge regarding
benefits gained by company about managing cultural diversity. It helps in enhancing skills and
capabilities of learner for doing any research in future (Emerson and Murphy, 2014).
Research Aim
To determine impact of the cultural diversity on organizational behavior. A study on
ASDA.
Research Objectives
To understand cultural diversity and its benefits to organization.
To identify the impact of cultural diversity on organizational behavior of ASDA.
