TITLE
The impact of globalization on human resources management within Caffe Nero.
INTRODUCTION
Overview of the research
Globalisation is considered as the integration of markets in the world economy, leading to
the developed interconnectedness of national economies. In another words, globalisation is refers
as the process by which businesses and other organisations develops international impact or
begin operating on an international scale. Globalisation has key influence over the assistance of
human resource in developing countries and its operations. In this present investigation work
Caffe Nero is selected for providing better analysis over the chosen area of work. It is a British
European style coffee hub brand and majorly operated from its branches. The key focused area
of the Caffe Nero is to expansion of business at global level by effective management of human
resource of the firm, however the growth and success of a business is based on the human
resource management. This project majorly contains the study about the influence of
globalisation on the human resource management within an organization. In this predetermined
aim and objectives will be taken place for carry out the work in right manner. Literature review
will be effective in providing detailed analysis in the form of theoretical aspect and research
methodology will be effective in providing support to the work by proper selection of tools and
methodologies. Along with this data analysis will be executed for determining the information as
to drawing valid and reliable outcome.
Background of the Research
Globalisation has majorly assist to homogenization or convergence in business strategies,
processes or structure and in consumer perception as well. With accelerating globalisation,
businesses have to make alternation in organisational processes and set new trends and processes
in human resource management as to managing the operations in effective manner. Globalisation
is effective for a firm in developing the strength of firm by hiring talented workforces at global
level, however globalisation is majorly effective in retaining employees for long run of business
operations. Caffe Nero is a popular British European style coffee hub brands with its headquarter
is in London, England. The company was established in the year of 1990 by the potential efforts
of Lan Semp and the company was sold out in the year of 1997 with 5 different branches and the

main hub of the firm was at South Kensington. The company is currently operated by its coffee
houses of around 825 which are stated in different countries. The potential motive of the firm is
to expansion of business at global level for the purpose of becoming the international brand. The
firm is also focuses over the operations of human resources in respect to maintaining their
capabilities and utilise them in achievement of growth and profitability.
Significance of the Research
The research into actual action is based on evaluating the impact of globalization on
human resources management within Caffe Nero. This is a wide area of research work which is
effective in developing the idea and knowledge base of people, students and learner regarding
the chosen area of work. This study is effective in determining the impact of globalisation over
the human resource management of an organisation. Globalisation is an effective aspect which
provides opportunities to the businesses to expand business operations at wider level but
expansion is based on the strength of work force of an organisation. However in an organisation
the department of human resource is concern over managing skilled work forces as to expansion
of business at global level. The major purpose of conducting the research is the personal interest

Literature review is considered as an effective aspect that helps in conducting in-depth
analysis over the chosen area of work, as in this information is gathered in theoretical aspects for
