Conclusion
On the basis of current investigation a conclusion can be made that concept of
sustainability and eco-friendly strategies has become vital and important for improved efficiency
and success of hospitality as it ensures many key benefits and advantages. Further a
summarisation can also be made that Social progress and equality, Environmental protection,
Stable economic growth and improved brand image are main benefits of eco-friendly strategies
which is depicting is positive role on the consumer decision making while selecting a Hotel.
Further, a conclusion about the more effective eco-friendly initiatives and strategies is also
summarised from current investigation to have improvement in its overall productivity and
performance level which consists of Green hotel practices, CFL lighting and Energy-efficient
appliances. Beside this, an conclusion about the main challenges that are faced by hospitality
industry which has enhanced the importance of sustainability and eco-friendly practises is also
made by current studenty which consist of a set of Global climate change, Excessive carbon
emission and Water pollution. Further, a summarisation can also be made on the basis of finding
of current study that overall a positive impact is lead by effective sustainable and eco-friendly
practices on the decision making of customers while choosing a hotel which has made adoption
of sustainable practices more vital and significant for hospitality industry.
Recommendation
On the basis of findings of current investigation following recommendation can be made
out for Holiday Inn to have improvement in its sustainable practises to attract and cater larger
number of consumers:
Adoption of Green hotel practices is highly recommanded and suggested for Holiday Inn
which aim at eliminating negative impact on environment through ensuring and leading
out better ways for saving energy. Use of green practises by Holiday Inn would ensures

and leads out to installing energy efficient appliances along with implementation of
effective renewable programmes which support sustainable and eco-friendly practises to
attract and cater larger number of consumers.
Beside this, formation of sustainable committee is also suggested and recommanded for
Holiday Inn as it lead to ensure long-term future of the firm by protecting communities,
restoring and conserving ecosystems, and creating competitive profit. Thus, implication
of sustainability committee by Holiday inn would enureses improved support and
enhanced emphasis on sustainable practices which would attract and cater larger number
of customers for Holiday Inn.

A reflection can be made out by me that current investigation is turned out to be very
informative and knowledge for me that had improved my overall learning and understanding
level on the topic of sustainability. Beside this, the use of positivism philosophy and deductive
approach was seemed out to be effective and efficient in meeting the set objectives as they
facilitate a more systematic and practical form of investigation along with supporting analysis
and better testing of numeric facts. Apart from this, the use of quantitative research method was
also suitable and appropriate to meet set objectives in efficient manner as it supported gathering
of numeric form of data along with ensuring improved presentation and communication of fact
which made it significant for current investigation. Use of questionnaire was also made by me
which supported collection of data from a larger section of participants to ensure ample amount
of information in order to meet set objective in vital manner.
Thus, research methods of current investigation are crucial for meeting the current
objectives but still some pitfall related to the unviability and limited theoretical and in-depth
information is faced. Thus, use of qualitative form of research method could be used and applied
as alternative research method which support and leads to collection of theoretical form of
information through making use of interview as data collection Instrument. Finally, a reflection
about my own learning and performance can be made out which comprises of improvement in
my communication and managerial skill along with improved learning about the concept of
sustainability which supports and bring out better opportunities for me in future.
