INTRODUCTION
Cultural diversity is defined as an element, where both new as well as existing staff
members working together without undertaken factors such as age, religion and so on. It is
important for an organization to implement cultural and diversity practices as it help in
eliminating workplace discrimination and provide positive working environment to employees. It
also aid in motivating employees and retain them for longer period. For the present research,
Tesco is taken into consideration. The company specialize in offering quality groceries and home
essential in market. The company offer product in more than 18 countries and have around
4,50,000 employees. The report is based on the concept of equality and diversity practices that
help in eliminating workplace discrimination. In addition to this, research methodology and data
collection methods is described that help an investigator to collect information and draw a
positive and valid conclusion.
Research Aim:
“To investigate the importance of implementing equality and diversity practices for
eliminating workplace discrimination within the organization”. A case study on TESCO.
