In thismanner, top management has to invest in training so as to improve performance level of staffmembers (Al-Bahussin and El-Garaihy, 2013). This case study is set to examine the effects oftraining and development assistance in telecommunication industry. British Telecom is theselected organisation for this research project. This group performs at global level, for this stakethere are several technological changes that can affect employees performance' in an adversemanner. Management is required to determine all these external factors by making properstrategies and policies. TASK 11.1 Formulate and record possible project outline specificationThe present research project is based upon identifying profits and results of providingtraining and development assistance to employees. The entire report will be enlighten thebenefits of providing training and development assistance to employees in telecommunicationindustry. It states that training impacts performance, competitiveness and revenue of theorganisation. It leads lower job turnover by decreasing the cost to hire new employees (Cascio,2018). British Telecom group is the second largest multinational telecom company in UK andoperates around 180 countries all around the world. It has large pool of subsidiaries liketelecom . They are the fast growing telecom countries giving stiff competition to telecom giantslike Vodafone. They have a common goal to be the biggest telecom network in all over the worldas well as they have a very aggressive marketing strategy with a common objective to penetratedeep in market and gain profit from that market. For this purpose, employee training programmeis to raise performance of individuals as well as organisations.
