TASK 1- RESEARCH PROPOSALQ1.Background of study Domestic abuse is known as the type of controlling, threatening, bullying, or violent behaviorwhich is between people in a relationship. The domestic violence covers physical, financial,sexual, psychological and emotional abuse (Fox and et.al., 2014). The present study is based ondomestic abuse from which children are suffering and its impact on them. AimsThe impact of domestic abuse on children in the UKObjectives To identify different types of domestic abuse suffered by children in the UK To analyse impact of domestic abuse on children in the UKTo recommend strategies for tackling the issue of domestic abuse and its impact onchildren in the UK.Rationale for selectionDomestic abuse on children has grown rapidly since from last three years. It can seriouslyharm children physically or mentally. Further there is increasing cognizance of children'sexperience of domestic abuse. It becomes difficult to identify at what extend children suffer fromabuse. Therefore, because of this reason the present study is conducted in respect to determineimpact of child abuse and way to overcome this problem. Literature reviewAccording to the view of Bradbury‐Jones and et.al., (2014) child abuse and domesticviolence it not new problem in modern era. There are different types of domestic abuse fromwhich children suffered which includes sexual abuse, emotional abuse, physical abuse,threatening to kill or harm children's etc. Further one of pessimistic aspects of family life lead togive emergence to domestic violence on children. Emotional abuse is known as psychologicalabuse which is stated as one of the most common form of child abuse. In families some peoplenot see the child as a separate person and they only fulfill their own needs instead of children's.There are different sign of emotionally abuse children such as they most of the time feelunhappy, behave aggressively etc. 1

As per the view of Holt, (2015), different types of domestic abuse directly and indirectlyimpact the quality life of children. There are some physical symptoms which are show inchildren of domestic abuse such as ill health and stress. For example, the may developed eczema,fear, suffer from sleeping disturbance. Along with this there are few children's who suffer fromphysical injuries which may result of direct and indirect.Research MethodologyResearch methodology assist in completing entire research in appropriate manner. Inpresent study, interpretivism philosophy will be used for further investigation. Further bothprimary and secondary research will be conducted for collecting the information. In primaryresearch information will be gather through survey while secondary information will be collectedthrough books and journals (Mackey and Gass, 2015). Apart from this for analyzing the collecteddata qualitative techniques will be used under which thematic perception will be used forinterpreting the information.
