Title: To investigate the Gender discrimination that impact on the performance and efficiency of
staff members in the organization. A case study on Tesco.
INTRODUCTION
Gender discrimination is based on the global phenomenon which can be observed at
organizational as well as personal level. Gender based gap can be identified as deviation from
idea which is genderless community, society. As a result, it will be generated the perception in
which differently assigned task for both male and female. In recently, there is becoming unstable
economic condition, society and challenges for family. Afterwards, it will be increasing the
literacy rate among female in developing nations. Therefore, it evolving the various challenges
for decision making because existence of gender balance environment (Bae and Skaggs, 2019).
In fact, it has become more evident to organization that discrimination within enterprises. In
most of cases, Women are treated unequal, unfair due to decrease morale of female employee in
the workplace.
The objective of research study is to analyse the result or outcome of gender
discrimination that mainly specified to female in other industry. Through research study, it will
identify the effect on gender discrimination on the employee performance, efficiency and
commitment.
Aim:
To identify the Gender discrimination that impact on the performance and efficiency of staff
members in the organization. A case study on Tesco.

To evaluate the strategies to reduce the gender discrimination at workplace.

Significance
The significance of research study is to identify the opinion of staff member and also
create the employee loyalty, trust. Therefore, it will be reduced the employee turnover. The
