retail sector of UK- A study on Tesco.

This is to attain the above framed objectives that are as specified below-

ļ‚· To assess the relationship between social media and purchase behaviour of

decision of Tescoā€™s customers.

positively influence the decisions taken up by the customers while buying goods.

This is to demonstrate the importance of the chosen topic which depicts the recent
trend of todayā€™s contemporary world. It thereby reflects my personal interest for
choosing this project where this topic will also assist the businesses to frame relevant
strategies as a way of enhancing their business performance.

Three: Research approach and methodologies
What type of research approach and methodologies are you
likely to use and why?
This is to discourse upon the chosen methodologies to carry
out this research work.
It will involve the use of an inductive research approach to
augment the scope of the study.
Moreover, a qualitative approach will be applied to carry out a
thematic analysis of the acquired outcomes.
The sample of this investigation will reflect the selection of 50
customers of Tesco who will be chosen randomly. The
participated respondents will be asked to contribute in an
undertaken survey to submit their responses in a designed
questionnaire.
It will also depict a descriptive research design with findings
about the ongoing impact of social media on the purchase
related decisions of Tescoā€™s consumers.
