SECTION 1: INTRODUCTION
1.1 Purpose of research
The main purpose behind conducting this project is to determine the impact that
globalisation brings within financial sector and benefits that Barclays Bank get after globalise its
business practices (De Vos, 2012). By performing this investigation researcher would be able to
enhance its knowledge regarding the tools as well as techniques that are used to conduct
investigation effectively. In addition to this researcher would also be able to enhance knowledge
regarding the globalisation and its influence over business practices. This investigation can be
further used in future for academical purpose which support students in getting information
regarding the ways globalisation help financial institutes to achieve growth at international level
by learning it from some real life examples of Barclays Bank (Findlay and et. al., 2012).
1.2 Research Objectives
