organization.
INTRODUCTION
Equality is about ensuring everybody has an equal opportunity, and is not treated differently
or discriminated against because of their characteristics. Diversity is about taking account of the
differences between people and groups of people, and placing a positive value on those
differences. Present report will lay emphasis on managing both so that workplace discrimination
can be reduced. The report will lay emphasis on Hotel Hilton. Company has been involved in
providing the hospitality services. Report will provide the details about research methods used to
answer the questions which has been raised. It will also provide the details about the literature
review. The research is been focused on to reduce workplace discrimination by managing
equality and diversity in organization: A case study of Hotel Hilton” The objective of the report
is to analyse ways of maintaining equality and diversity. The other objective is to evaluate the
benefits of reducing workplace discrimination in Hotel Hilton. The purpose of the report is to
analyse the importance of equality and diversity in the firm. The topic is been selected so that the
equality and diversity can be maintained. It is really important for the organization to reduce the
workplace discrimination so that productivity can be enhanced and also the employees can be
retained in the firm. It will also assist the company in achieving their goals and objectives. It has
also been analysed that providing equal opportunities to employees can assist them in growing
and also it will help them in achieving their goals and objectives. It is really necessary for firm to

needs to promote equality and diversity in their organization. This will assist the firm in building
their good will as well as brand reputation and equity. It has also been analysed that providing
equal opportunities and not been engaged in doing discrimination can support in creating
employees belongingness. This will help company in achieving objectives. It will also help them
in growing and gaining more amount of market share. It has also been analysed that equality
assists in enhancing the business performance as no discrimination can enhance the skills of
employees which helps in increasing the productivity. It will also assist firm in growing.
Managing diversity is also really essential and important. This can support the company in

There are two methods of research. One is qualitative and another one is quantitative. Qualitative
research type is one of those kinds of research in which non- numerical or descriptive or
elaborative data is collected and analysed in order to answer the research question in a much
better and enhanced manner (Leslie and et.al., 2019). In this no numerical is been used by the
researcher, it is based on the theoretical frame work. The other type of research is quantitative. In
this numbers are being used in order to find the answer to research questions. For the present
research qualitative data will be used. This type of research is used is generally used for
understanding views and perceptions.
Research design: This is basically being used so that the research can be able to find the
end results. It has been analysed that there are three type of research design that is exploratory,

descriptive and causal (Graham and et.al., 2019). For the present study, descriptive design is
being used. This is basically being used as the study is qualitative and also based on the
theoretical result. In this type of design there has been description of the specific type of
elements. This will help researcher in finding the end results. It is being selected as Descriptive
research is an appropriate choice when the research aim is to identify characteristics, frequencies,
trends, and categories.
Data collection: There are basically two methods of data collection one is primary and the
other one is secondary. The primary method of data collection means that the data is been
collected from the raw sources that is questionnaire or any other methods. These sources are not
been published. It is really easy to collect the data with the help of primary sources. Secondary
source of data collection includes that the data is been collected with the help of published
journals, articles and other published materials. This research is been done by the researchers
already and the information is been gained from it. It has also been analysed that this research is
really simple to be used (Colella and King, 2018). An advantage of using primary data is that
researchers are collecting information for the specific purposes of their study
Sampling: The present study has made use of simple random sampling and also it has been
analysed that this sampling method is been used so that no biasness exists during the time of
doing the research. It will help researchers in getting to the end results. It is been selected so that
no biasness exists.
Data analysis: In this research thematic analysis is been used by the researchers. It is
because the study is qualitative in nature. This has helped the researchers in analysing and
interpreting the data, it has also assisted the researcher to have the end results. It is been selected
as it allows researchers a lot of flexibility in interpreting the data, and allows you to approach
large data sets more easily by sorting them into broad themes.
Research approach: Present study has made use of inductive approach. There is basically
two type of research approach one is inductive and other one is deductive. In this inductive is
been used as the study is qualitative. It has been analysed that this approach can help researcher
in studying the specific phenomena.
Cost: A cost benefit analysis finds, quantifies, and adds all the positive factors (the
benefits). Then it identifies, quantifies, and subtracts all the negatives (the costs). The difference
between the two indicates whether the planned action is advisable

Access: Access can be defined as the appropriate ethical and academic practices used to
gain entry to a given community for the purposes of conducting formal research
Ethical code of conduct: It has been analysed that researcher needs to follow the ethical
code of conduct. They must make sure that if there are nay human participants involved in the
study no harm is been caused to them. They also must make sure that the personal data of
participants must be kept confidential. The researchers also needs to maintain that without the
consent of participants no information needs to be derived from them. They must make sure that
the data has been collected ethically and also this will help them in enhancing the quality of their
research. It has also been analysed that no illegal way should be used by the researcher as this
will be unethical. They also must make sure that no personal data of participants are been leaked.
They need to protect the data of participants.
