TITLE: To understand the ineffective coordination among board of directors
and management team of the company.
INTRODUCTION
Corporate governance refers to a system of various rules, regulation’s, process or
practices with the help of which a company can be controlled as well as managed in an effective
manner. Ineffective coordination at workplace between board members and management team
might affect the productivity, performance as well as goodwill of the company in a negative
manner (Jacoby, 2018). In the present research, chosen organisation is Top Deck Travel which is
tour operator generally provide travel services top those individuals who belongs to age group of
18 to 39. it is a company which offers around 330 different tours in almost 65 countries. In the
present report, aim and objectives of the research are going to be formulated so that the whole
research will be conducted in an effective manner. Along with this, by using literature review
section viewpoints of authors and researchers will be examined so that positive conclusion will
be drawn.

Hypothesis
Ho: There is no effect of customer satisfaction on ineffective coordination between board of
directors and management.
H1: There is effect of customer satisfaction on ineffective coordination between board of
directors and management.
Rationale for selecting the topic
The primary aim behind conducting this research to examine the actual reason behind
ineffective corporation among the team. This will assist in enhancing understanding as well as
knowledge about the growth. Along with this, developing understanding about this topic helps in
getting future opportunities at the marketplace as communication, research and analytical skills
will be improved in an effective manner. Also customer satisfaction is related to the sales of the
company. When sales will increase, the stakeholders will automatically be happy or vice versa.
This topic is chosen for knowing what is the impact of customer satisfaction on stakeholders.
LITERATURE REVIEW
Four pillars of corporate governance and strategy
According to the view point of Landon-Lane, (2018), it has been said that corporate
governance refers to the system of different practices, rules as well as processes with the help of
which a firm is being controlled and directed. Continuous change in corporate governance as
well as strategy, it has been identified that the overall functionality might get influenced in both
positive as well as negative manner. Therefore, it has been concluded that the whole performance
might get affected. The four pillars of corporate governance are Accountability, Fairness,
Transparency and independence. Accountability is helpful in embracing ownership of the
strategy and task that is needed to obtain organisational objectives and goals. When the idea of
accountability is approached, individuals are more open to it and this improves performance.
Fairness means treating of all stakeholders effectively. The establishing of effective
communication is essential for ensuring timely protection of resources as well as people asset.
Transparency is known as there is nothing hidden from the transactions and processes. This is an
element of corporate governance as it ensures that actions of all entity are checked. Independent
assurance is known as obtaining confidence that executive actors are leading entity towards the
pre defined intent.

Effect of relation of BOD's and management on customer satisfaction
As per the perception of Daniels and Morck, (2019), it has been said that there are
various reason which leads towards the ineffective coordination at workplace which affect the
overall performance of the company. Some of the most essential issues which affect the working
environment of the company includes delay in working, duplication of task and activities,
inflexibility of workers. The concept of customer satisfaction is very important while the
decision making of the management of an organisation. The board of directors and management
take effective decisions for product as sales of company and customer satisfaction are important
for the management. All these enhances the negative influences at the working environment
which reduces overall profitability as well as goodwill of the company. Therefore, it is quite
essential to examine these issues within given time frame, so they might get reduced effectively.
Strategies that minimizes the issue relating to corporate governance.
As per the information given by Ledford and Gast, (2018), it is said that different types of
issues are there which is used by management team as well as board of directors so they can
overcome from such negative influences. With the help of board meetings and by
communicating with each and every member on a regular basis can reduce issues arise at
workplace. If Customer satisfaction is achieved, then stakeholders are happy. This is important
for the management to have good relation with the corporate governance as it will help in
achieving goals of meeting needs of the customer. sAlong with this, with the aid of considering
every board member as well as management team equal and by providing them equal
opportunities within the organisation can minimise such issues from workplace.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Methods of Data Collection
In order to collect data for conducting the research in an effective method there are two
main methods which are primary and secondary. With the help of these methods researcher will
be able to collect investigation in an effective manner. In the present context of research, it is
said that both primary and secondary method is used by researcher where in case of primary,
questionnaire is being used by researchers (Quinlan, and et. al., 2019). And on the other hand, in
case of secondary method, literature review is used by researcher so that the whole research will

be collected in an effective manner. With the help of using both the data collection method,
investigator will be able to conclude best and possible result which will assist in completing the
whole research in an effective manner.
Descriptive statistics – This are known as brief descriptive coefficients which summarises the
given data set which is representation of entire or sample of population. These are divided into
measures of central tendency as well as variability. The different measures of central tendency
include measures of variability. This consists of standard deviation variance, maximum and
minimum variable, skewness and kurtosis.
T-test – This is known as inferential statistic which is used for determining if there is any
significant difference between mean of two groups. This is one of the test which has purpose of
hypothesis testing in statistics.
Chi square test – This is a single number that tells the difference between observed counts and
the counts that are expected when there is no relationship at all population.
Correlation technique – This is a statistical technique which reflects how strongly pairs of
variables are related.
Regression technique – This is a form of predictive modelling technique that investigates the
relationship between dependent and independent variables.
Inductive approach: This process starts with the theories & observation and are
proposed towards research in order to gain positive outcome. In the present research, deductive
approach is used by researcher and it is suggested to make use of inductive approach as it helps
in finding out more accurate as well as feasible results. Inductive approach is basically focuses
on finding out new theory in order to emerge data in a proper manner. In addition to this,
inductive approach used a systematic process in order to identify qualitative data that leads to
valid as well as accurate findings.
From the above discussion, it has been analysed using of deductive approach is feasible
and carry out feasible as well as accurate results. Along with this, it aimed and focus towards
testing theory in a proper manner.
Methods of Data Analysis
In order to analyse the research in an effective manner, there are two methods for data
analysis which are qualitative and quantitative method. With the help of qualitative research
method, researcher will be able to collect quality related data so that they can collect suitable

information according investigator adopt quantitative research method (Hussain, Rigoni and
Orij, 2018). It includes all those information and data which is in the form of numerical,
statistical and mathematical form. In the present report, data analysis method which is used by
researcher is quantitative method.
ETHICAL CONSIDERATION
It is very essential for the researcher to consider all the ethical aspects before conducting
the research in an effective manner. It is essential for investigator to collect data and information
from respondents in such a manner that the sentiments of individuals do not get harm. Along
with this, it is also very necessary to the researcher to maintain the confidentiality of all the
information so they can effectively conduct the whole research and accomplish in an effective
manner.
GANTT CHART
It is a graphical representation which represents balance between time and activities
which is performed by researchers for completing the task in an effective manner. It includes
both finishing as well as ending point of the functions so that it can easily been identified by the
researcher that the work is done by them is completed on time period or not (Kumar, 2015).
