The main reason behind selecting this topic is to enhance knowledge regarding globalisation and ways in
which it help companies to achieve business success. It also help in enhancing the knowledge of learner
regrading several issues faced by them during research that further support in dealing with future
challenges.

 The concept of globalisation:- According to the John Williamson (2018), Globalisation is
defined as the process of integration between nations which is developed through interchange of
global view, ideas, product or other elements present in culture. Globalisation is a main reason
behind the progress of local market, beliefs and humanities as internationalisation support in
forming up a relation and interaction between several countries through a globe-spanning
network of trade as well as communication.

 The role played by globalisation in making a business successful:- As per the view point of
Philip Piletic (2018), globalisation bring up several upside and downside factor in front of
organisation but among which positive factors that provide business success are global stability,
market expansion and marketing equalization. Globalisation provide businesses an opportunity
for increasing its customer base by expanding operations at several geographical area that further
support in achieving higher profitability and brand recognition. In addition to this it also help in
improving the standard of operations performed within the country by learning the best practices

 Different ways that support McDonald's in driving business success:- As per the view point of
John Rampton (2019), there are eight ways that McDonald's has adopted which help it in driving
business success at local as well as global level. It includes maintain consistency in restaurant
operations, procedures, quality, cleanliness and services. In addition to this it establish a brand
presence worldwide, take risks, try to adapt with changing customer's taste, art of cross-sell,
manage how to work with people, spot & Grow talent and realize the importance of philanthropy.

 Relationship between globalisation and McDonald's business success:- As per the view point of
Panos Mourdoukoutas (2019), globalisation help McDonald's in achieving business success
within two ways, first is franchise business model that allows its management, franchisee-
members and managemnet to syhare risk and reward by exploiting several business opportunities.
Second one is by innovation and adaptation which is coming with fresh goods and services in
order to satisfy the needs of consumer as per the economic, local and demographical factors
throughout the world.
