Retail sector is the sector which is fast growing in UK and not only in UK it is growing
rapidly worldwide. In retail sector such companies fall which offers goods and services to the
customers (Naidoo and Gasparatos, 2018). There are many retailers which can be seen in the
market which are convenience, departmental stores, electrical, grocery, discounts etc. retail
industry is growing day by day and booming. It can be said that retail industry is s getting higher
profits and is also comes under the industry which are making good revenue. It is highly
competitive industry and important for the economic growth. This industry have high
contribution in the economic development of the country. Retail sector never dissatisfied
customers and provide good customer service and also amazing shopping experience to them.
With the growing technology retail sector is also evolving. As companies has shifted towards
online market because they found potential growth in online business.
Sainsbury is the multinational company which also falls under retail category. It is the
supermarket chain having it headquarter in England. The company deals with grocery, clothing,
footwear, accessories, bags, fragrances etc. this company is also listed on London stock
exchange. Company is known worldwide for its good quality of products. This report will
