1RESEARCH PROPOSALThe research title of the reviewed research proposal is very brief, to the point and yetcontaining all the relevant key research terms such as ‘caregivers’, ‘stroke’ and ‘psychological’.The title helps in giving a short glimpse into what the research is all about, while the researchquestion offers an insight into what the research intends to explore and examine, in relation tothe research topic, already discussed in the title. The Introduction of any research study is highly important as it helps in explaining theresearch issue, briefly mentioned in the research title, offering statistical evidence regarding theimportance of the research study, as well as the research implications. The Introduction sectionoffers an insight into how the informal care givers are the primary care givers to the strokepatients in many occasions, and hence emphasizes the importance of studying the challengesencountered by the informal caregivers. This section also offers an insight into the aims andulterior objectives of the research study (Beins 2017). The Background Section is importantchiefly because of its informative content that not only states the high rate of fatal incidentscaused by stroke, but also reports how the psychological and emotional health and well-being ofthe informal care-givers is affected during their provision of healthcare support to the strokepatients. This section is structured chiefly into two parts- the first person identifies and discussesthe theme of the fatality and injuries caused by stroke to the patients, while the second section,revolve around the themes of how research evidence suggests that the well-being of thecaregivers is affected in the process. The Background Information could be structured in a betterway, with the first paragraph giving a detailed account of the researches conducted in the field ofstroke and care giving process, followed by paragraphs discussing the resultant themeidentification in the process.
