“An investigation into the effect of religious discrimination in manufacturing industry. A case of Aston
Martin.
Introduction
Religious discrimination at workplace is treating an individual or group of individual differently or unfairly
because of the specific beliefs which they hold about a religion. This is a type of discrimination that occurs at
workplace due to the religion of an employee (Abraham, 2017). This report is based on manufacturing
industry that is engage in transportation of materials, goods or substances into innovative products. Aston
Martin is a chosen manufacture of grand tourers and luxury sports cars that was founded by David Brown in
1947. Along with this, religious based discrimination has direct effects over manufacturing industry. This
discrimination increase communication gap and language issue among employees that resulted in lack of
productivity and performance. One main communication issue stemming from religion is lack of knowledge
or information among an individual employee regarding other religions and belief systems. This issue have
negative impact on manufacturing industry or Aston Martin by increasing employee turnover, reducing brand
image, decreasing productivity and performance etc.

Main aim of this research proposal is “To analysis the effect of religious discrimination over growth of
manufacturing industry. A case of Aston Martin.
