Abstract
This paper revolves around the most significant topic that is Gender and Power in the Old
English Studies. Moreover, the aim of this paper is to identify the various problems that the
women needed to face over a couple of the period. This paper also evaluates the dominant nature
of men of that era. More consistently this paper discusses the fundamental challenges that have
come across to the women of the 1989 people. This paper generally targets the problems that are
faced by the women of 1989 era. This paper considers that what must be the status of the women
in that era and it also tries to recollect or recognize the relationship that has been constructed
between the different sexes as constructed socially. This paper also determines the status of the
women and what is the absolute relationship occurs between the women's and men of that era.
Feminist Historians points out to the consistent support for completing the report (Beauchamp et
al., 1974). The thesis statement includes “The feminist historians have adopted so many
theories in order to reduce the impact of masculine power “.
Literature Review
Generally, as the studies are done by the Kelly-Gadol in 1988 and it reveals that there are two
spheres that are evident in the history of the old literature and at that time the women power was
very limited like the way of man’s power. There are so many collections of the essays of the
women of 1989 era and it was atheistically modified by Susan Mosher Stuard who raises so
many feminist historical issues. All those essays are the relevance of the women who belong to
the specific segment that is Anglo-Saxon. Barbara article or the essay is the entire volume of the
historiography of the women to the broader trends related to history. This includes what is the
interest of women in the social history and what is the interest in the rights of the women. The

Barbara provides the overview of the women of 1989 has a narrow tradition. However, the
studies that are conducted by the Meyer's explore that is there is no sign of equality or near to
equality between the two different sexes. However the Klink monitors the restriction specified in
the women power and this occurs mainly between the early and later Anglo – Saxon women's.
Method
In order to achieve the aim and objectives of the study, the researcher will adopt a qualitative
research design that will be based on secondary research. This research design is beneficial as it
allows the researcher to access the large volume of data in relatively less price. Therefore, the
researcher will gather data to generate funding through secondary qualitative research design. All
through the course of the research, the research will access various studies available online. The
research will access different electronic basis to obtain past studies related to power and Gender.
The year of the studies for the survey will be been limited from the year 1989-2015. The method
of reasoning for this constraint is subject to the points of this review as it was a fundamental
prerequisite to recovering all the present writing of the studies which are important to this review
and had been performed analyzing the efficacy of different diabetes prevention programs (Baron
et al., 1986). The researcher will also ensure that the articles or journals obtained are in English
language and complete format. Thematic analysis is considered as the most suitable technique
for examining the secondary qualitative data. Therefore, for examining the data obtained for this
particular study, the researcher will apply thematic analysis method. To begin with, the synthesis
of the collected theories will be performed in order to establish relations among them. It is
important to state at this point that the synthesis of the information has to be carried out in a
steady as well as the chronological way in order to convert the data in the manageable format.

Subsequent to the synthesis of the information, a range of themes are anticipated to come into
view that will be in synchronization with the research topic (Belanoff et al., 1986).

Results
From the above mentioned the result that can be drawn from these studies is that what are the
issues and the problems that the women of that era were facing? Meanwhile what appropriate
solution or steps were taken in order to eradicate the Gender Power from some nations?
Evidently the Masculine Power has not finished but still, its impact is quite less as compared
with the early time of 1989 (Baron et al., 1974).
