Haar, J., 2019). Further it has been analysed that this integration aid organisations to take
opportunities in maximum advancements as to increase efficiency of their business. In addition
with this, companies can effectively operate their operations with adequate sum of resources
that further aid them to gain more developmental opportunities. Globalisation not only aid
business organisations but also help countries to increase their ratio of economical development.
Present report has been conducted to TESCO which is one of the leading and multi-national
organisation operating their activities in retailing industry. Company was founded in the year
1919 while having headquarter in England. Products and services have been offered through the
medium of superstore, supermarket, convenience shop and hypermarket.
Background of Research
Globalisation is being termed a process in which free trade practices are done worldwide.
It also aid business organisation to gain advantage of transport and communication in order to
increase efficiency of their products and services and further serve customers with best. In order
to conduct present research investigation, TESCO operate their functions in retailing sector and
serve qualitative products and services to customers. By providing high customer satisfaction
TESCO becomes one of the leading organisation in UK. It has been determined that top level
management of company face numerous set of issues and problems while conducting their
operations at international level(Cavusgil and Knight, 2015). In order to effectively resolve this
problem and overcome this challenge superior hold the authority to investigate on globalisation
topic as to gain each and every required data and information. With the help of this they can

effectively able to analyse the core problem that further lead them to formulate objectives in
order to obtain suitable end outcome. Present research is conducted to solve issues related to risk
of globalisation that further affect functioning of TESCO. With the help of this company can
effectively able to operate their activities in best effective manner.

Main aim of present research is “ To identify globalisation role in order to drive business
towards success path at international level” A case study on TESCO.

influence and benefits of globalisation researcher can effectively able to determine globalisation
impact on organisation that further aid them to identify more competitive outcomes with the help

competitive advantage and further benefit country to effectively increase their GDP and per
capita income level. Globalisation is currently an interesting topic that seeks my interest as it
effectively benefit to increase my knowledge and skills in best effective manner that further aid
in boosting my career growth.

As per view point of Didem, (Brambilla, 201). Globalisation is related to a basic
procedure which helps organisation to develop channels for interaction and exchange. This is
helping in process which is related with how organisations are interacting with each other. This
takes place when there is there is exchange of culture which takes place between countries and
they are willing to enter different countries. This is a factor which helps in business expansion.
This is acts as a process which further leads in developing a unifying approach for all countries
who are part of it. This is also beneficial for people across whole world as they will be able to
maintain balance between profits and cost. This is a process which is helpful for Companies in
getting maximum benefits as there are maximum output with minimum resources. Each country
has their own specific culture which is adopted by various organisation. Foreign direct
investment is also a strategy just like globalisation which is helping companies on achievement
of higher sales. This is a process which is leading to very high competition between companies
and advancement of technology is also a part of globalisation. As when a company enters a new
country there are many innovations which are approached in that country. All this leads to higher
sales in of organisations who are able to have a differentiation advantage. With this concept there
has been minimization of boundaries and world is being seen as one. There has been a ease in
way import and export is being done by organisation. With respect to Tesco this is a retail sector
brand which is having its presence across different parts of world. They are using concept of
