TASK 1
Research Process
Research Introduction – The topic of the research which has been carried out is Impact of Big
Data and Information Technology in Society (Tkachenko and et.al., 2019). The main aim of the
research is to enhance the aspects and capability which has been addressed and concerns the
impacts which is analysed of big data and information technology in society.
Topic – To identify the impact of big data and information technology in the UK society.
Research Objectives –
 To analyse the concept of Big Data Analysis.
 To identify big data analysis tools and IT tools.
 To understand the relationship between IT, society and big data.
 To recommend the strategies to improve the quality of society by undertaking IT tools
and big data into action.
Research process – The research process which has been identified is based into gathering
research aim, objectives, research type, samples, research methodology etc. These aspects were
used which helped in analysing the research is prepared and is made in effective and efficient
manner. There are different stages in the research which are effectively performed and this
helped in creating value for the research at large scale.
Key issues identified in the research –
 The selection of the study area is the major key issue which is being identified for
analysing the impact of big data and information technology in society. This is the study
which is analysed to of wide area and this has created an issue as there is no particular
area which is identified (Tinghe and Dervin, 2018).
 The collection of data has been another issue which is diagnosed. As there was collection
of data from the wide area rather than the particular one, it became difficult to collect the
data at large scale.

 The sources which should be relevant were undertaken and this created issue for ensuring
that the sources are taken to be relevant at large scale.
Type of Data
Data is the collection of discrete units of information which helps in conveying the quality,
quantity, facts and statistics. For the collection of data, it is very necessary for determining that
the data is being analysed with proper knowledge and facts to be required within the research
which helps in gathering the information and data appropriately (Johhson and Sylvia, 2018). The
research proposal was made for ascertaining the idea of the research and its key aspects and
concerns which are required within the research. I have also identified the aspects such that the
Big data and Information technology are the major aspects which are important for consideration
at large scale. The research has helped me to understand the market circumstances which are
arising at large scale. It is helpful to assess the concerns which are regarding the impacts of
technological advancements in the society at large scale.
There are also some major negative aspects as there is lack of time and resources which
have been creating problem within the collecting of information and data which is being gathered
at large scale. Therefore, there are both positive and negative aspects which are being considered
and within the research which has been conducted at large scale.
TASK 2
Collecting Data and Evaluating Sources
Primary data is the data which is gathered by the researcher through interviews, surveys
and understanding and solving the research problems at large scale. Through my perspective
primary data is the data which is collected first hand and helps in analysing the data and
information which is being collected at large scale. On the other hand, secondary data is the data
which is previously being gathered and is assessed by the researcher.
In my research both primary and secondary data has been used for conducting the research
and this has helped in analysing and collecting the data with the help of wide range of
information and data which is being collected. With the help of both primary and secondary
research the information about big data analysis and IT in society is being analysed at large
scale. By keeping in mind the research type taken into consideration, the primary and secondary

data has been the major cause as to how effectively and in appropriate manner the information
has been gathered in significant manner. The people living in the society have been influenced
by the information technology and innovations which are used in the society at large scale.
The data which is collected form the secondary sources is done by carrying out the survey
method appropriately. There are also some key secondary sources which are books, journals,
online resources etc.

It is very important the research area has been identified and there are certain sources
which are to be included within the research at large scale. The research has been done for
analysing the aspects which are to be included for considering the research which is done on
impact of big data and information technology in society. These are some of the major sources
which are being analysed for addressing the key aspects and sources which are used within the
research and this helps in knowing that how effectively and in appropriate manner the key details
regarding the secondary research has been collected at large scale (MacInnes, 2020). These are
the sources which are ranked on the credibility of how the sources are being ranked along with
the type of source at large scale. The sources used are relevant and credible as they help in
addressing and creating value for the research and providing all details which are used within the
research to make all the information and details of the research valid and important to be known.

These are some of the key aspects which are helpful in addressing the key concerns which are
included within the research. The ranks are allotted to the sources as per their validity and
reliability at large scale. This has been analysed as how effectively all the sources are being
evaluated in significant manner. There are concerns which are related to contributively growing

Analysing and Interpreting Data
The interpreting and analysis of the data is being done for which is used in the big data and
information technology in society at large scale. The big data is being collected with the help of
sources which are secondary and this includes books, journals, research report and report. I have
also undertaken the survey method for analysing and addressing the big data which is helpful for
gathering the information on big data and information technology within society. The report has
been ranked as 1 because the big data has been used as the sources such as big data and merger
control (Weston and et.al., 2019). The sources type which is ranked as 3 is the information
collected through book and further the research report has been ranked as 2 and the journal has
been ranked as 4 which is analysed and depicted as information gathered for the big data analysis
and information technology at large scale.
The sources are the major concern which are helping the data which is being gathered for
collecting the information which is regarding big data and information technology impact in the
United Kingdom society. The academic data has helped in ensuing that how effectively and in
appropriate manner there are concerns which are regarding the information details at large scale.
The academic data is helpful in gathering the details and information of the society which helps
in enabling the aspects which are regarding the concerns related to growth and development of
the United Kingdom society analysis at large scale (Choudhry, 2019). The data analysis is the
most challenging and difficult process as the data is being collected and evaluated in difficult

large scale.
Therefore, analysing and interpreting the data has been the major source through which all
details and information about the topic which is impact of big data and information technology
has been analysed and identified at large scale (Neale, 2021). By analysing the data, the research
will be prepared and framed in effective manner. This is how the interpretation of the data is
being done at large scale. It has been depicted from the secondary sources of data which is being
collected.
TASK 4
Using data and Information Security Systems
The big data and information technology are the two major aspects which are considered
as important and are analysed within the process of this research which has been conducted
appropriately. Both the processes which are big data and information technology are analysed
and are identified for making successful marketing decision-making processes. This helps in
providing solutions to the problems which have been identified at large scale. It helps in
improving the situation of the United Kingdom society which is very essential (Gardy and
Loman, 2018). This helps in accessing the product, identifying the patterns, collection of the
feedback of the customers. Along with this, finding the opportunity to measure and manage the
societies considerations and requirements which is regarding the big data and information
technology.
The secondary data is helpful in monitoring performance of United Kingdom society
which is in context of big data and information technology in society. The people are being
influenced by the big data which is being analysed and is helpful in gathering the aspects of how
effectively the people are considering the developments in the information technology while they
are living in the society. The people living in the society are more concerned about the changes
in the technology which have been made and are evaluated within the context of how effectively

there has been impact on the society. There are various types of data techniques which helps in
measuring the data for the quality of data such as -
Data Transformation Error Rates — For better quality, big data and information technology
are must. The transformation error techniques help in reducing the errors and helps in identifying
the problems and issues regarding the data quality. These are the problems which are faced by
the researcher to analyse the data at large scale (Ding and et.al., 2018).
Amounts of Data which is Dark — The data which is dark are not so effective in the quality
data because there are always problems and issues which are regarding the aspects of how the
data is being managed. There are techniques which are used to reduce the problems in the data
quality.
Information Security Systems
Information security systems are the systems which refers to the methodologies and
processes which is involved in keeping the aspects which are determined in collecting the data
and information at large scale. There has been hacking in the data which becomes the major
problem and issue for the security system (Tytenko, 2018). It is very important to protect the data
and information which helps in addressing the concerns which are related to creating strong
passwords, encryptions, installing anti — virus for protecting the data. Integrity and
confidentiality are the major concerns which are related to having the information and security
systems to be at alert. There are some major and basic types of information security and these are
— network security, internet of things (IoT) security at large scale. The research report uses
cloud security which helps in providing the concerns regarding the safety and security of the
infrastructure at large scale. This also helps in solving the issues and problems which have been
arisen and are taking place within the system at large scale.
