Introduction
 Obesity is determined as an abnormal accumulation of
body fat which is generally 20 percent higher than the
ideal body weight.
 This can be one of the chronic disorder and further
can affect health if an individual.
 According to the current scenario, obesity is rapidly
growing in public health and because of its prevalence
it is putting an effect on health.

Background of the Research
 Obesity is a big concern because accumulation of excessive fat in body
can leads to many disease such as diabetes, coronary heart disease and
osteoarthritis etc.
 In relation with England, country has worst figures in obesity if it is
compared with Europe it is higher.

Literature Review (Concept of obesity)
 According to the view point of Dyson and et. al., (2014) with the change
in course of time, obesity is becoming one of the crucial factor of health
issue and people are becoming victim of the same.
 This is determined as a medical condition in which a person starts gaining
excess body fat.

Main causes of obesity
 Wong, Chou and Ahmed, (2014) opine in their study that,
Obesity is the biggest health issues across the globe and it is
because of several health related conditions known as
metabolic syndrome.
 Blood pressure, elevated blood sugar and poor blood lipid
profile. There can be many causes of obesity and some of
them are genetics: This is a fact that if one of the parent is
obese than there is a possibility that child also become victim
of the same.

 Lack of physical activities: this is one of the main cause of increase in
number of obesity. According to recent times, most of the job involves
sitting at a desk which gradually cut down the time for exercise and people
become fat or obese.
 Food addiction: There can be many food addicts who are addicted to food
items that are sweet, high-fat junk.

Problems associated with obesity for an individual
According to the viewpoint of Miqueleiz and et. al., (2014) obesity is one of
the serious and chronic disease and people who are prone to obesity are
much greater to risk and sever health conditions.
 Common risk that can be faced by an individual are type 2 diabetes: This
is a disease that causes because of high level of sugar in blood.

 Coronary heart disease: Symptoms of this disease is chest pain, heart
failure etc., this happens when blood flow is blocked and interrupted
because of collection of fatty substance on the arteries. This process is
known as atherosclerosis.

Research Methodologies
 Qualitative Methods: It is determined as one of the primary exploratory
research which is gained on the basis of understanding, opinions and
underlying reasons.
 Quantitative Methods: This is being used by a researcher in order to
quantify different kinds of problem by generating numerical data so that it
can be transferred into statistics.

Tools of Data collection
 Primary: When researcher wants to get authentic data than primary
method is used as this is done for the first time and whatever information
are collected are not being used by any other person.
 Secondary: In this, most of the information's are collected from different
sources such as internet, books, journals, magazines etc.,
